Yes! It’s a real pineapple. My Dad grows them in his yard. :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Belated Happy Mother’s Day! Hope you had a special celebration with your dear family.

Those are all beautiful flowers. I love the purple and yellow orchids.

Is it a miniature pineapple? It’s so cute, it caught my eye because of its perceived smallness.

I love the cheerfulness yellow flowers bring, so I guess that’s my favorite of the bouquet :).

Tell your dad the pineapple wins, because it’s purdy and you can eat it.

The pineapple is the best because it makes me drool - although I am allergic to fresh and would blow up like a balloon. Can eat canned though - wierd.

right now, right this minute I would kill to go outside and grab a mango and some of those little bananas to go with that pineapple. Washed down with 100% no blend Kona coffee.

sigh

My jar of pineapple in light syrup just became a whole lot less appealing. :)

Is this your dad’s green thumb at work? Those are all awesome.

I wish the place that sell plants here would stop carrying plants that don’t even grow in our climate… I keep finding tropical plants and wondering how in the world they expect us to grow them. sigh

I like every one of the pictures, it’s hard to pick which one is my favorite. I really like the picture of the pineapple and the one of the ‘little boy’ plant (2nd picture). I don’t know if that’s a ‘real’ nickname for that type of plant but when I visited Hawaii when I was younger, my grandma told me that’s what those plants were nicknamed…LOL
