Terro Fruit Fly Trap Review & Giveaway (2 Winners!)
Have you ever walked into your kitchen to be greeted by a swarm of fruit flies? If you eat fruit on a regular basis, leave it out on the counter, or even leave a dirty dish in the sink, you are just setting yourself up for a possible fruit fly invasion! There are many reasons they can appear and we all know how annoying they are to deal with and eliminate! Terro has a new product that can help with your fruit fly situation easily and painlessly!
About the Product
“TERRO Fruit Fly Traps are designed to lure adult fruit flies, using a special non-toxic food-based liquid lure,” says Stew Clark, technical director for TERRO pest control products. “Flies that enter the trap can’t escape to continue breeding.”
The Terro Fruit Fly Trap’s non-toxic formula works to lure flies inside the small apple container, trapping them and successfully eliminating infestation! After cleaning up possible sources attracting fruit flies and placing the apple trap nearby, it will significantly decrease the amount of flies within only a few days!
My Thoughts
Last August we moved into a new house and almost immediately had a fruit fly invasion. I cleaned everything from top to bottom, but they just kept multiplying until the weather turned cooler. This year we have a garden so, our kitchen is constantly filled with delicious fruits and veggies, which we all know always attracts fruit flies! Just like in the video, I filled the decorative trap and stuck it in our fruit bowl. The next day several flies were already trapped and by day 3 there were barely any fruit flies around.
I am a huge Terro Fruit Fly Trap fan for many reasons. First of all, it works, which is more than I can say for other methods we’ve tried in the past! Also, the “bate” that lures in the fruit flies is non-toxic! With two boys around the house we tend to stay away from anything toxic. I don’t have to worry about them getting a piece of fruit from the bowl or chemicals attaching themselves to the fruit and vegetables! Oh, and did I mention the Fruit Fly Trap is actually cute? There’s no need to clean up or hide the trap in order to save yourself from embarrassment when guests come over because it’s decorative! Usually I end up showing it to them and they love it, too!
Buy It!
If you have a fruit fly issue or anticipate having one as the summer season winds down and fall begins, you can purchase one for around $7.99 online or at retailers nationwide!

We always have fruit on the counter (if I put it in the refrigerator the kids forget it is there and don’t eat it) and it seems these little annoying fruit flies come home from the store with the fruit. I would love to try this trap.

I so want want of these for the lunch room at work. It is just so gross with the way everyone leaves all their messes, that it’s about impossible to keep the flying annoyances at bay. Thanks for a chance to win one!

Picking lots of veggies out of the garden now and often they end up on the counter, plus the humid air seems to make fruit flys worse
