Last week I finally broke down and purchased something I’ve been wanting for a very long time.
Every time I see a co-worker or passenger with this item, I’m full of awe and end up asking them tons of questions about it. So far, I haven’t found a single person who has regretted buying it. “One day . . .”, I kept telling myself.
Then finally, “one day” came.
I was thinking about my upcoming Pampers Conference and wondering how I was going to pass the 10+ hour flight to Ohio. After all, Cake Mania can only take me so far. Then I received an email from my good blogging buddy Grace who offered to sell me her Amazon gift certificates at a substantial discount since she can’t really use them in Dubai. The very next day, I received my BlogHer check in the mail and with my birthday coming up, I thought “Why not?”.
So I took the plunge and bought it. I even paid for the expedited shipping to get it here faster. Boy, shipping to Hawaii is expensive! Anyway, I’ve been tracking the order since it left the warehouse and it’s finally somewhere in Hawaii!
I had planned to run errands today but have decided to stay home and stalk the UPS guy. Every time I hear what sounds like a large truck driving by the house, my heart starts to race as I run to the window to see if it’s him. I even considered having Girlie Girl skip piano class for fear that I would miss him. Sad, huh?
Want to know what I bought? Stay tuned . . .
