“Don’t play with your food†is a phrase we are all familiar with, but what if you could play with your food and get rewarded for it at the same time? Outback Steakhouse is launching a free, fun, interactive “Fantasy Foodball†game that allows your readers to do just that with the football adventure of a lifetime in Miami, FL, on February 7, 2010 as the grand prize.
I decided to give the game a try and signed-up my team called An Island Life. Registration was easy and it was pretty cool the way I was able to select different menu items as teammates. I just recommend that you don’t do this on an empty stomach. It had me craving their Prime Rib for the rest of the night!
The game is similar to fantasy football, except there will be great prizes each week from free Bloomin’ Onions to gift certificates for those who make it to the top of the leaderboard. The game is so easy to play that you don’t even need to be familiar with football – just food! You don’t even have to be a football fan.
The game just went live and the first round of winners will be announced this week so sign up now!
How to Play:
- Choose your six team players; each player represents a delicious Outback dish
- Choose a ‘team’ consisting of dishes you think will be the best selling dishes at Outback each week.
- Every week your ‘team’ will be matched up against another ‘team.’ The better your dishes sell, the more points you get! If your team performs the best over the 8 game season, you’ll win a football adventure of a lifetime!

To celebrate this exciting event, Outback Steakhouse is giving away a $25 gift card so that one lucky winner can visit Outback and order one of the dishes on their ‘team!’ Visit www.outback.com/foodball today and draft your team for the first matchup of the season!
To enter:
- Just stop by Outback Steakhouse before midnight, Nov 13th and check out their menu.
- Then come back and mention which dish you’d select to be a part of your team. That’s it!
- A random winner will be selected and notified via email shortly thereafter.
- The winner will then have 3 days to claim their prize.
To earn extra entries, you may do one or all of the following. Each one counts as an extra ticket but you must leave a separate comment for each one.
