Aloha Friday #68

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

My question is:

What’s your family’s favorite dinner?

One of our family’s favorite is Kalua Pig & Cabbage. Girlie Girl eats all the Kalua Pig and Baby Bug eats only the cabbage. It all works out in the end. :-)

I think our favorite dish would have to be spaghetti with meat sauce. Boring, I know, but probably the only thing that everyone really likes.

There are a couple – I make an enchilada style mexican pizza that everyone loves, hubby makes homemade pizza that is out of this world, and Trader Joes sells this Mandarin Orange Chicken thing in their freezer section that my husband is head over heels for – we cook it often.

I don’t know if there is only ONE favorite. The kids certainly enjoy a lot of different things. I have a homemade spaghetti sauce that I serve over macaroni noodles that they love. But they also love just about anything involving the BBQ. They like tacos, too.

It’s a toss-up but I think the favorite is my husband’s eggplant parm. The kids love it and besides being delicious, I don’t have to cook!

I would say the one meal, the entire family eats would be Spaghetti. My son would eat spaghetti 365 days a year.

Kalua Pig and cabbage. never heard of it. Wow.

This is a tough question, because it all depends on what way my mood swings.

We love Thai food – and a good pad thai certainly sounds lovely tonight.
