Types of TT-ers I like….those who dare to write about what they DON’T like about Christmas!!! How about Starbucks’ insistence on playing yodeling Sarah McLachlan songs? How about people announcing their Christmas spirit with loud honks on their car horns if you don’t get in your car and give up your parking space at the mall fast enough???

I hear ya! I’ve got the wrapping to do today and then tomorrow I am going to go out and buy the food stuff I need and then well, I’ll just get through it.

I totally agree with #5 and 10! And given your job, I can sympathize with #8 and 9. I actually enjoy wrapping gifts, however - I think it’s fun. We are in total agreement on fruitcake however. Yuck.

This is why I have invested in those neat Christmas boxes, so I don’t HAVE to wrap presents. I’m going to the container store the day after Christmas to get a whole bunch more at half price!

LOL when I travel, I check everything I possibly can - usually just the diaper bag and the iPod/laptop/cellphone/camera/video recorder/purse stuff stays with me. Of course I’m also lugging a toddler and his car seat ;).

#4 — I adore my in-laws, but I hate to visit them for Christmas. I hate the travel time and I hate the weather — they live in Cleveland!

#5 is the reason I shop online!

I don’t like fruit cake and egg nog either. I hate shopping during Christmas, it is the worst time to go shopping. My poor daughter is going banana’s at Toys R Us in Pearlridge. She’s a supervisor, so she’s been working long and goofy hours.

My Agent’s parents used to keep Christmas gifts in the trunk of their car so she and her sis couldn’t get to them. And egg nog? I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

I would have to agree with all of this. There’s no need for fruitcake ever, and there’s certainly no need to go out and fight crowds for presents when you can sit in your den and shop online! I really hope I don’t get sick this holiday season while traveling, but somehow, I suspect I will nonetheless. Bleh…

YES! I agree… man your pile of gifts looks as bad as mine! My brother ends sending our presents 6 months later. It used to drive me nuts, but it’s the thought that counts I guess. Besides, I get a little depressed after Christmas… opening a few late gifts is fun for me.

I want to take my stuff down after the holidays to get my house back to normal, but I don’t enjoy it.

I hate it when someone unexpected gives you a gift, and you have nothing for them. So embarrassing.

13 definitely. We’ve kept our tree up to a record February 2nd before…. and no we don’t have a fake one. I think that’s the year we threw the lights away too.

I got your card. Thanks so much. I’m sorry I’m a slacker and never made it out for cards and now I can’t drive. I wanted to get a Louisiana card and could never find one. The kids think it’s the coolest that they got a card from Hawaii though.

I am an oddball in that I love eggnog! Add a dash of rum and what a wonderful drink! And I enjoy my MIL’s and can’t wait for the trip! I avoid the malls by shopping on line and as early as possible when I can, and Hubby and I limit our spending!

The santa in my picture was made by me many years ago. I wish I still had the pattern and how to because it would make a great gift to give!

Oooh thankfully I don’t have to do #4!!! YAY!!! I also hate shopping in a crowd which is why I vowed this year to do all my shopping through the year and NOT at the end of the year…I failed miserably in my vows. LOL.

The Christmas shoppers who stop to look at things in the windows of BUSY streets really wind me up. I still have to shop as I have worked every day for a while and haven’t had time to get anything done yet so it will be a HORRIBLE weekend for me.

I have to say, I love love LOVE Christmas! Even the in-law visits. What I really hate is post-holiday depression. I get that pretty bad. Don’t let it be over!

I think we can all relate to a lot of those! I especially hate the days following Christmas. I hate taking down the decorations and trying to find somewhere to put all the new toys LOL

I can relate to 4, 5 and 7! I just gathered up the receipts and tallied the costs. *Shudder* That wasn’t including the lights I bought for the tree.

I don’t mind wrapping presents but I ran out of sticky tape so I had to get creative and use double sided tape. They’re going to be a bitch to unwrap!

Gift wrapping.. gift buying.. man, I’m soooo behind schedule this year. Guess I better go brave the stores today to finish up.
