I still have 10 DVD’s I haven’t watched and one of them is also “The Da Vinci Code”
Memoirs of a Geisha
The Da Vinci Code
The Devil Wears Prada
Snakes on a Plane
Over the Hedge
Cars
We own all of these, and like them all. But I reordered them in the order of my most favorite to least.
I have some of these films at home but didn’t get to watch them too! I have # 1,4,5,6,12…
Hopefully I’ll find time to watch them soon.
My list is up, too!
Hugs and happy TT,

I will exercise for comments!!!
Here we usually never buy DVDs / CDs we usually rent them and watxch them when we have the time or inclnation… haven’t done it in a while though… hope you manage atleast some of them over the weekend…
I liked Prada a lot. Meryl Streep was terrific!
Haven’t seen one of those yet. I have the book for Memoirs that I want to read. But haven’t seen the movie yet. Good luck on that list.
Happy TT!
Over the Hedge is simply one of the funniest movies for children I have seen. You will love it!
I also liked Memoirs of a Geisha. That one pulls on your heart-strings a lot. Be prepared to cry.
The others I haven’t seen, but I hope to soon!
The only one of those I’ve seen is Cars. It was ok, entertaining but not stellar.
The only one I have seen on your list is Cars and Over the Hedge. I can not tell you the last time i went to the movies, and we usually one watch them if they are available at the library. I do want to see End of the Spear though.
great list. Mine is up too..13 things about me.
Stop on by.
I loved The Devil Wears Prada. It’s such a great movie and Meryl Streep deserves her Oscar nod.
By they way, my TT is up! I’d love it if you stopped by.
Invincible and Da Vinci code were both good. Cars was so so, my 6 y/o actually wanted to leave in the middle of the movie. Memoirs of a Geisha, it was ok.
I´ve watched #1, #2, #6 and #12 which I liked a lot and #7… which s#%ked big time =)
My TT is up, too. Please stop by @ Coffee2go – Thanks =)
“Memoirs of a Geisha” was WONDERFUL! Saw “Devil Wears Prada” last weekend…I thought it was okay. But, I’ve never read the book, either, and I think I remember you’re a big fan.
“The Last Kiss” is on it’s way to our house from Netflix. We love Zach Braff! “Garden State” is a fav.
Great TT! Mine is up.
Cars and Over the Hedge were good. I don’t think I have seen any of the others.
All of us loved CARS. It’s a really cute movie.
The Guardian is on my list of movies to watch, and I’d also haven’t seen the Devil Wears Prada.
Have a great Thursday!
I saw some of those, and they were very fun movies!
The Devil Wears Prada was such a fun movie…definitely make sure you watch it.
Memoirs of a Geisha was a visually interesting movie but didn’t live up to the book (which I read first). Still worth the time.
And Cars is adorable, great to watch with kids.
Happy Thursday!
I’ve only seen Cars & Over the Hedge… we liked Over the Hedge but I didn’t think Cars was worth it (and we didn’t pay to see it!)
I think the best part of Over the Hedge is where they gave the hyper squirel some cafeen. This was very similar to Mr Twitchy getting coffee in Hoodwinked, but still very amusing. BTW: we loved Hoodwinked too!
We don’t get many moves for the grown-ups around here.
Is there a way I can stop getting your posts sent to my email? LOL I don’t know how I even did that.
We have all of those on DVD and I have only seen:
~ Memoirs of a Geisha (Saw at the movies) I really liked it. Wonderful cinematogrophy. Very Long.
~ Devil Wears Prada (also at the movies) It was ok. FABULOUS wardrobe!
~ The Guardian (just saw it 2 days ago) I REALLY liked it. Then again I LOVED Top Gun!
Ok, I can say for sure the Devil Wears Prada was better then I expected it to be. Let me know how the Geisha movie is, its on my list.
Great list of movies to watch. You will love Memoirs Of A Geisha, it’s superb! Cars and Over The Hedge are good too. It’s for children but very enjoyable for adults.
1. The Devil Wears Prada – excellent, must see
2. Memoirs of a Geisha – good, but not one of my favorites, still watch it
3. Coach Carter – good if you like sports movies. same story line, bad kids, adult pushes the kids, they step up. you know, but still good.
4. Cars – not one of my favorite disney/pixar movies, but okay. my nephew loves it
5. Over the Hedge – very funny for both kids and adults
6. The Guardian – very good, really moving
7. Snakes on a Plane – haven’t seen it don’t want to
8. World Trade Center – was hard for me to watch, in fact I couldn’t finish it. I would think it would be hard for you, seeing as you fly for a living.
9. All The King’s Men – haven’t seen it , but want to
10. Invincible – another good if you like sports movies. I thought it was kind of slow moving, but a pretty cool story about an average guy that made it big.
11. The Last Kiss – haven”t see it, didn’t get really great reviews and I’m not a huge fan of rom-coms, that aren’t really rom-coms
12. The Da Vinci Code- the book was better, but okay
13. John Tucker Must Die – hilarious! I love fun, not a lot to the plot high school movies. for a good laugh and an underlying message this is a must watch.
good luck getting them all ing. Let me know how ‘all the king’s men’ is, I want an honest review.
I loved Prada!
I saw Memoirs of a Geisha – it is excellent!
and I saw Cars with my son – great for the kids!
AND THANKS for your congrats!! I am so grateful for your enthusiasm and friendship!
Don’t bother with Snakes on a Plane or The Da Vinci Code. Both were stinkers, in my opinion. DEFINITELY watch The Devil Wears Prada. Meryl Streep is brilliant — like that’s news, right?
Memoirs of a Geisha is one of my all-time favorite books — and the movie did not disappoint despite some fundamental changes to the storyline.
Bah! I forgot to comment. I’m a dufus… but you already knew that. :O) 1 2 4 5 6 were all very good! I may have some of those others, but I have a bad habit of falling asleep during movies lately. Happy TT!
We read #2 it was a book.
We saw 8, 12 and 13.
Our movie taste is wierd so I am not going to discourage you from watching them.
Terrific Thursday Thirteen!
My TT is posted.
Have a wonderful day!
Happy TT’ing!

Raggedy
many of these are on my list of movies I’d like to see.
Happy TT
I loved the DaVinci Code but you can skip the Devil Wears Prada, that one stunk
I’ve seen 1, 2, 3, 10 and 12 (I think I got those right!) and I liked them. Some better than others, but they were all good to really good!
What a great library you guys have, enjoy
We loved “Cars”. It was really cute. Also, one of the best DVDs I’ve seen in a long time was “The Illusionist”. Not on your list, but really good!
** Thanks for the suggestion!
I haven’t seen any! I’ll be right over!!
Mine’s up too
