Lots of interesting things going on! My husband and I would love to run the Honolulu Marathon some day, or perhaps the Maui Marathon. They would both be such great experiences!

Happy T13. :)

Wow, I already thought you have a great place to live, but now I’m sure! Are you going to see all of this? Have fun!
My TT is about methods of divination.

I wish I could but I would need more than a month to accomplish all of that! LOL!

LOVE Holiday craft fairs. But ours are turning more into places where different consultants get together … more of a large open house for Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, etc. Not that there is anything wrong with that…

I agree. It seems like a lot of craft fairs have turned very commercial. I prefer the homemade things.

so what about in january? :) I’m just hoping we don’t get rain during the week Im there!

more questions:
1 how long from the airport to get to the hotels on waikiki?
2. how long to drive to north shore?

Happy TT! What a fun list; I wish I could do some of that stuff with you.

Enjoy U2 (if you’re going). Hope you got seats so great, Bono’s sweat will drip on you.

Yes, I am going to the concert and I’m excited! I don’t know about Bono’s sweat though! LOL!

From one island to another….Happy Thursday Thirteen.
I’ve been to Pearl Harbor and it was extremely moving. Especially to see that oil still going into the water, all these years later.

I agree. We took the family to the Arizona Memorial on Veteran’s Day. It gave me chills.

Well, here we have all the Disney and Universal stuff, we like to go see the Macy’s parade and the Grinch at Universal, and of course Disney is always fun. It snows at Downtown Disney and there’s tons of other events to attend. It’s just finding the time (and money) to get to them all ;).

I am so jealous! Disney is my favorite place in the World!!!

Hmm, would love to see U2 again!

Are you going to see U2!!!??!!???!!!

I would absolutely love to see them in concert!

Yup, got my tickets!

Boy am I missing out! Yup! We sure do have snow in Hawaii. I used to love seeing Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa full of snow. Haleakala snows too. It’s beautiful.

That’s right! I forgot about Haleakala!

Great things to do in Denver Metro at Christmas…

Wild Lights at the Zoo
Denver Parade of Lights
Drive downtown to see the lights on the City building largest display in the world.
Parker Carriage Parade
7th Annual Festival of Wreaths
presented by Aurora History Museum
Christmas with the Children’s Chorale
Scrooge
Snow Globes at Cherry Creek
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas Candlelight Tour and Reading Molly Brown House Museum
trip to mountians to see the snow! In late Jan the snow sculputer contest.

I would love to see a snow sculptor contest. Heck, I would love to see snow!

It’s a shame you’re not going to get to go do hardly any of those because you’ll be too busy wrapping your Wordless Wednesday! ;) tee hee

I really want to visit Hawaii someday soon for a vacation. So much to see and do. I saw Hawaii for a little while through an airport window at HNL on the way to Japan. ::sigh::

I started wrapping them but got overwhelmed and had to stop. It’s endless!

Ooooo — I am so envious of your U2 tix! I wish they’d come back through here again. Hubby surprised me with tix last year at Valentine’s Day for their April concert. For as many years as I have adored their music (since 1980), last year was only my second time seeing the live.

I wouldn’t mind if Bono dripped sweat on me — bring it one, baby!

Sounds like fun! I wish I could do some of those things.
Thanks so much for the card and paper by the way! That is so cool. Yours will be going out shortly.
Happy Thursday!

Wow those sound awesome! It’s possible there’s lots to do around here at Christmas too but I have no idea what - the thought of being surrounded by a horde of people is what keeps me at home. LOL.

Happy TT!

We have some friends who are the world’s biggest U2 fans that had tickets for the concert that was cancelled and are there now for the reschedule. They tried to get us to go and we wanted to but couldn’t get away. Sigh. I love U2.

** It would have been cool if you could have made it over here. It’s going to be a great concert!

As if Hawaii didn’t have enough lure…you’ve got all kinds of awesome Christmas-y things to do there too!

I have a question though…I’ve heard rumors that milk is super-expensive there…so how about Egg Nog?

** A gallon of milk is about $4.00. Is that expensive? I don’t care for Egg Nog so I’m not sure how much it costs. I’ll find out the next time I go grocery shopping and let you know.
