I know this makes me a huge dork but I would buy stuff to fix up and organize my closets. I know $100 would not go far but it would at least give me the get up and go to get started on the project.
What an awesome giveaway! I must admit that I would probably give the gift card to my husband and let him decide what to get, but if I were to use it, I’d get me a GE Stainless Steel Dishwasher! Or maybe some paint for the kitchen cabinet.

I would love to give this gift card to my parents, whose home was damaged during Hurricane Ike. Their insurance covered most of it thankfully, but there are still lots of little things that need done, such as a new window, outside boards for the house and a new back door. We bought a house that needed lots of work, and then we had to stop because money ran out. So now we got little bits here and there that need to still be fixed or replaced. This would really come in handy.

I could apply it to my wood floors I want, paint for the kitchen, bathroom fixtures, but I think I would use it on some more Christmas Decorations. I don’t have a lot and I feel like I could make Christmas a lot more majical for my boys if I decorated just a little more.

Oh! I would definately get a new space heater. My girls room is WAY too cold in the winter. And the rest would go towards some fun new Christmas decorations!!!

Our livingroom area rug is so sad looking now. We bought it at Home Depot in 2000 for $77. I’m sure a rug like it would now be up around $100. So that’s what I’d spend it on.

I would use the $100 gift card towards a new front door for our house. The one we have now is very worn and simple. I’d like to have a new one with a bit more character.
When we bought our house in 2004, we bought some tile for the family room. The tile is in there — stacked up, just waiting to be installed. I would love to put the hundred bucks towards hiring someone to lay the tile for us, but if DH still insists on doing it himself, at least we could buy the mortar and grout.
Since leaving the shelter I have not been able to afford curtains for myself or the kids would love to buy curtains with it.

If I won the Home Depot card I would give it to my husband to apply to the repairs of our bedroom, we got hit by a hurricane and after the insurance which was hardly anything the repairs are more then want insurance qualified us for so we are doing the repairs as our budget allows and I would love to get it done as soon as possible, its so hard to do repairs on a penny budget.
