When Baby Bug was born, Girlie Girl had just started preschool. And since DH only had 2 weeks of paternity leave, I found myself having to take Baby Bug with me when I dropped her older sister off at school. Of course, all of her classmates wanted to to see and touch the new baby and it was hard to keep them away.
Now with Baby #3 on the way and Baby Bug starting preschool, I thought I was going to be in the same situation . . . until I found Sprout Shell.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sheri and Kirsten designed the Sprout Shell with both Baby and Mom in mind. The difference between the patent-pending Sprout Shell and anything else on the market is the over-the-handle design that creates an enclosure for the baby, protecting its entire body from the elements.
MY REVIEW
When I first opened the package, I was impressed by the way it was presented. The ribbon and gift tag made it perfect for gift giving. The next thing I noticed was the quality. Sprout Shell is made from 100% machine washable cotton to ensure that baby will be cool and comfortable.
What I really liked about Sprout Shell is the opening on the top where the car seat handle peeks through. I think it’s so much safer that I can grab the actual car seat handle itself rather than through the material. This way there’s no chance of it slipping from my hands. The opening is also large enough that an ample supply of air can get to baby and keep her comfortable.
This will be so perfect to keep Baby #3 protected from all the kiddies at Baby Bug’s school. I figure if she’s covered up, it would prevent them from wanting to touch her.
And talk about versatile! I can even use Sprout Shell as a nursing cover or shopping cart cover. With so many things I tend to stuff into my diaper bag, consolidation is key. With Sprout Shell I get three products in one!
