We have been big fans of Littlest Pet Shop since the very beginning. We have all their Nintendo DS games and tons of playsets and characters. Even I secretly enjoy playing with these adorable animals whenever I get the chance. I don’t know if it’s the bright colors, or the solid friendships, or those huge eyes . . . there’s just something irresistable about Littlest Pet Shop.

OUR REVIEW
We received the brand new game: Littlest Pet Shop 3 Biggest Stars for Nintendo DS to review and I was really excited since the girls and I enjoyed playing all the previous Nintendo DS versions.
In this game, your pet’s dream is to compete in the Biggest Stars Competition and meet their idol, Harmony. Through various mini-games, your pet has the opportunity to practice their dancing, cat walk, sense of style, and many other areas that will help them in their quest to become the Biggest Star.
In between all the practicing, you can also personalize your pet’s wardrobe, play and feed them, collect flowers as you make your way around town, bake treats, and just chat up your Littlest Pet Shop friends. Personally, I’m not much for chatting and would rather just get on with the games. That’s why I’m grateful for the B button since it allows me to quickly go through all the dialog without missing any important information.
Or if you really want to get down to the fun, check out the Pet Arcade where you can play various games. However, you do need to play in Adventure mode occasionally in order to unlock more Pet Arcade games. You can also visit the Coloring section to show off your creative style. I have to say that the coloring pages were actually pretty challenging. It’s not like you touch one area and it automatically fills with your chosen color. You have to actually use your stylus to fill in the area and make sure you don’t go out of the lines.
Overall, I think this is the best Littlest Pet Shop game so far. I like the various mini-games and how they all relate to each other. The pets are adorable as usual and the accessories are pretty funky. There are a lot of different things to do to keep you occupied and interested in playing for a very long time.
