Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas Giveaway

One of my girls’ favorite PBS Kids cartoons is Curious George. They’re always laughing at the mischief George gets himself into and are fascinated when everything somehow works out in the end. I think it’s pretty hilarious that the Man With The Yellow Hat always says, “Be a good little monkey.” I mean, how good can a monkey be in a human’s world? I guess that’s what makes the show so great.
In Curious George’s first holiday movie, A Very Monkey Christmas, “George and The Man with The Yellow Hat are having a very merry time counting down the days until Christmas. There’s only one puzzle: neither of them can figure out what to give the other for a present. The Man is having trouble reading George’s wish list and George doesn’t have a clue about what to get for The Man who has everything. Will they be able to find the answers before Christmas morning?”
In addition, there is the “All I Want This Holiday $100,000 Giveaway” where one lucky grand prize winner will get $100,000 to create their own “Family Fund.” This can mean investing in a college tuition fund, paying for a new home or even taking a year off to spend more time with the kids. I would love to win this because Curious George is my son’s absolute favorite. He has to sleep with his stuffed George every night.
My nephew loves George
My 6-year-old son would love to win this prize pack. I decorated his nursery in the Curious George theme before the movie came out (i.e. before there was any merchandise in stores to actually decorate with!), and painted jungle scenes on the walls. I bought old Curious George dolls from garage sales and framed pages from the CG books to hang on the walls. He still loves to watch the recent movie as well as the old claymation ones. With his growing interest in action figures, I’m afraid he’ll grow out of this monkey-loving phase. So it would be a joy to see him open the prize pack for Christmas, then go run to collect his old stuffed monkeys and show them.
My son loves to read the books and my 15 month old daughter has a stuffed “George” that we can’t leave anywhere. When we start to leave the house sometimes she says, “George”.
