Alphabotz Flashcards Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to commentor #45: JamericanSpice!

Kiana has been doing really well in preschool and is currently learning her numbers, alphabets, and shapes. It seems like once that educational door was opened, she really started blooming and is always on the lookout for signs that she can make sense of. One of my favorite educational tools has always been flash cards. So when we had the opportunity to review Alphabotz, we jumped at the chance!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Colorful robot characters on over-sized flash cards are taking learning to read to a new level by helping emerging readers to comprehend nearly four dozen sounds created from the 26-letter English alphabet. The robots are called the Alphabotz, and when youngsters dive into the Superphonic Decoder Cards, they grasp the idea that letters equal sounds, sounds build words, and words tell amazing stories.

OUR REVIEW

These 46 over-sized jumbo cards are great for Kiana’s little hands. Each card shows a different Robot, an alphabet in upper and lower case, words that start with that letter, and stats on that particular Robot. In addition. there are codes on the upper right hand corner of each card that helps you identify what can be taught with each card. For example, if there’s a star then you know that’s the basic alphabets. If you see an gray line (-) that indicates the long sound of the letter. And if you see an “H”, that means these cards teach the “h” combination of sounds like Ch, Sh, and Th.

What I liked were quality of these cards. They’re brightly printed on sturdy card stock and comes with a cardboard drawer-type box to keep everything in one place. I can tell that these cards will last a very long time even with the rough way my girls can play sometimes.

However, the best part is that with all the different codes and information on each card, you can spend hours playing fun and educational games.  Alphabotz even appeals to various age ranges. Kiana can use them to practice recognizing the alphabets while Kacie can strengthen her spelling and reading skills. The Robot images are also fun and engaging and the kids had a blast learning about each one.

If you’re looking for the perfect educational toy, check out Alphabotz Flashcards. They make great gifts and would also be perfect for those who homeschool. As a parent, I know how much I appreciate it when family and friends give educational toys to my girls.
