Whole Foods Market Holiday Gifts
I still remember the first time I walked into a Whole Foods Market…….my senses were definitely overwhelmed. It wasn’t just another “grocery trip”, it was an experience. There was a huge selection of organic and natural foods that I had never seen. And let’s not forget the unforgettable bakery section! Mmmmmmm!
While many of us routinely shop there, did you know that Whole Foods Market has a huge selection of holiday gifts? And many are exclusive to Whole Foods Market too. You can find something for everyone on your shopping list…….from organic scarves to eco-friendly games.
Recently I had the opportunity to try out some of the items from Whole Foods Market’s 2009 Gift List.
I have to admit that I need something on my lips ALL the time. I’ve been known to have some type of lip product in every nook and cranny, purse, and pocket. In fact, there’s one right by the computer. This only gets worse in the winter, when my lips have the tendency to get chapped. So,when I received the Whole Foods Market Organic Lip Balm Trio, I immediately tore into the box to try it out.
Organic Lip Balm Trio (3 sticks – .15 oz each) MSRP $3.99
Organic Ginger Lemon
Organic Wintermint
Organic Vanilla
The package looks like it has snow falling on it….perfect for wintertime. I couldn’t wait to try out these flavors. The scents are wonderful and almost make you want to take a bite. My favorite was the Organic Ginger Lemon….so different than anything else I’d ever tried. What I loved most about all three lip balms was that they didn’t leave you needing to reapply within 10 minutes (as many lip products can). They kept my lips moisturized. Not only did I use the lip balm, but I let my daughter have one for herself. Even a two-year old can have chapped lips, and with the ingredients being organic (and consisting of things like extra virgin olive oil and essential oils), I felt good letting her use it.
Thanks to Whole Foods Market, I also was able to try out EO Liquid Hand Soaps too. Now this really got me into the holiday season.
EO Liquid Hand Soap (12oz bottle) MSRP $8.99
Cinnamon Spice
Evergreen Mint
These concentrated and moisturizing hand soaps are pH balanced to clean hands without drying the skin. They are mild and gentle and I love the fact that my toddler can use them too (since we avoid anti-bacterial soaps at home). I’ve had the Cinnamon Spice out for the fall season and can’t wait to place the Evergreen Mint soap in the guest bathroom for the Christmas season. You won’t believe the smells. I find myself visiting the guest bathroom instead of my own!
All of the items I was able to review are sold exclusively at Whole Foods Market. These would make wonderful holiday gifts (or stocking stuffers) along with many of the other items on their 2009 Gift List.
