When I first heard about Raisels I knew it had to be some kind of raisin snack. What I didn’t know was how much my kids were going to love them.

raisels 3PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Golden raisins with a fun-to-eat, pucker up sour, fruit flavored taste! Simply delicious, they’re the
anywhere, anytime real fruit snack. A better-for-you alternative to candy, cookies and gummy fruit
treats, kids love ‘em. Moms and dads do too!

OUR REVIEW

Thanks to Team Mom, our family received a whole box of these individually sized snacks in all the different flavors – Sour Peach Pucker, Sour Lemon Blast, Sour Apple TKO, Sour Orange Blast, & Sour Watermelon Shock.

Now, if you’re not into sour-type snacks then you probably won’t care too much for Raisels . . . because they are initially sour. They kind of remind me of sour patch kids only they’re made from raisins and are a lot better for your family.

My favorite flavor was Sour Apple TKO and I initially planned to just try a few pieces. However, I found myself craving more and eventually finished off the little 1.25 oz box in a matter of minutes. Surprisingly, even Kaila liked it. I think she thought it was cool that the raisins were so soft and easy to chew. Here’s her “sour” face.

These are also great snacks for the older kids because Raisels provides 100% of the US recommended daily allowance for Vitamin C, is fat free and cholesterol free, & does not have any high fructose corn syrup or sodium. Plus I love that they’re individually boxed which makes packing snacks for the kids so much easier.

raisel 1So the next time you’re at the store, stop by the snack aisle and stock up on these delicious Raisels!

This post was written for Team Mom & Raisels who provided the complimentary product in exchange for my honest review.

I mostly use raisins in cakes and pies, I never thought of them as snacks…but it’s worth giving a try!
