Who isn’t intrigued by this book title? Do sexy mom and budget even belong in the same sentence? I hope you sayYes!  As A Frugal Friend, I’m always interested in frugal tips to share, so I was especially curious to check out the newly released book, The Super Sexy Mom on a Budget, written by Renee Rayles.
Author Renee Rayles is an award winning author, television host, and actress, but she also knows what it’s like to struggle financially. She’s been fired one time, laid-off twice, and even quit a job that was a bad fit. She’s been there…….in the throws of raising kids, a marriage, and watching her pocketbook. Along the way, she learned a few tips….many the hard way. In writing this book, she wanted to help others get the most out of life, look great while doing it, and all on a budget. She says it’s possible……and I have to agree.
The book is full of frugal tips on everything from family vacations and beauty deals to meal planning. You’ll even find tips in the margins for easy spotting when you reference the book again. It’s a quick read at only 96 pages and I easily read it within one sitting.
Warning: You don’t want to leave this book sitting in the living room for little ones to peruse. She does devote a chapter to Sex……..and there are things (and vocabulary words) in there you don’t want to have to explain to your kids. Really!
