The Queen Bee iPhone Application

One of the wonderful things about having an iPhone is the remarkable applications that are available for entertaining and educating children. Because we are fortunate enought to be a part of our grandchildren’s daily life, they are with us quite often when we go to necessary appointments. Our grandchildren love to play just about anything on our iPhones but I prefer applications that teach and help educate them.
Story Chimes is a great source of educational and entertaining stories for the iPhone. I recently was able to share The Queen Beestory with my 3-year old grand daughter and 6-year old grandson. They both enjoyed it right long with me. The Queen Bee is the story of three “royal” brothers who are as different as night and day. 
The two older brothers set out on an adventure and find themselves getting into trouble. The youngest brother goes in search of his brothers however the older ones are not happy when he finds them. The youngest of the three brothers is kind to everyone and everything, not at all like his brothers.
When the brothers are met with the challenge of saving a cursed castle, it’s the youngest brother who saves the day when all the animals he had earlier been kind to come together to help him.

I am always looking for new iPhone apps for my 7yo. She has a lot of doctor appts and loves to play on my phone to keep her occupied while in the waiting room. I am going to check this one out. Thank you for sharing.
