My Thoughts on the Movie
In watching this movie, I have to say that I have seen other Madeline movies in the past and was expecting something similar to this. This movie though to me was a bit darker than what I had expected. My daughter liked the movie, but I was surprised at the concepts of child labor that were introduced to children within the movie.
In the end the movie does have a happy resolution, I just thought that themes raised were a bit heavy for the young target audience.

Glad to see in your signature that you’re a Dad to Divas, i.e. girls. My boys used to catch the odd episode of Madeline on TV in the past, but wouldn’t dream of watching this “girl movie” these days
