Summer Treats with Clear American #ClearAmerican #CBias

When our family thinks of Summer treats, we think of something cold and refreshing. So when I needed to create a recipe for my Clear American & WalMart Shopportunity, I decided to make something sweet, fruity, and simple.

Now, my kids love ice cakes and we usually make them with apple juice. However, this time I decided to use Strawberry Clear American instead. First, I boiled 2 cups of water then added some strawberry/banana gelatin for added flavor and color.

Mix it up until the gelatin is dissolved then add 1 small bottle of Clear American and stir.

Place 1/4 cup of the mixture into a muffin pan and add desired fruits.

Freeze overnight. Then pop ‘um out and enjoy!

My kids love them because they’re mini-sized and easy to eat. It’s also very refreshing on a hot summer afternoon and perfect when they’re outside playing in the backyard. Clear American is the perfect addition to any recipe that calls for water because it adds just a hint of fruity flavor. And with zero calories, it’s good for you, too!

So the next time you’re at WalMart, stop by the beverages aisle and stock up on your favorite flavors. In your favorite recipe or alone, Clear American is the right choice.

That’s a really cute idea, and I like the idea of freezing them during the warmer months. Love the princess dishware too – little girls leave their marks in all aspects of life (mine sure does)!

“Ice cakes”?! What a cute idea!! Hadn’t thought to add the Clear American to jello–so need to try that!
