My grandchildren aren’t babies anymore but at my house they still use sippy cups. It saves on my furniture, my carpet and I might say, my mind. I always seem to find stale sippy cups behind the sofa, under the bed or under the seat of the car. I even find them in the backyard! Because of this, I’ve had to throw away countless sippy cups.Â
Let’s face it, sippy cups are not fun to clean. It doesn’t matter how many times they go through the dishwasher or how many toothpicks we use while trying to get all the unidentified gunk out. There’s always a bit of something left where we can’t quite reach. Into the trash they go and back to the market we go to buy more sippy cups.
The Sippy Straw Cleaner is the brain child of Jennifer Reyes. The mother of two wanted to make a difference in the lives of mothers everywhere. After throwing out one too many sippy cups she came up with the idea of the Sippy Straw Cleaner. She just launched the website this month. I had the opportunity to review these incredible little brushes and I am here to say, they work! Sippy Straw Cleaners are great for cleaning accordion straws, sports bottles, the thermos in lunch boxes and anything that your dish cloth won’t fit into.
The Sippy Straw Cleaner is a patented one-of-a-kind brush that is FDA approved. The brush is made of nylon bristles to scrub the inside of the tiny straws. The rod is composed of stainless steel rust free wire and the handle is made from BPA free polypropylene.
Sippy Straw Cleaner is now taking pre-orders for December 2009 delivery. The cost is only $3.98 for two brushes. One will have a blue handle and the other brush will be handle free.
