Radio Flyer Style N’ Ride Scooter

When I hear the name Radio Flyer, I automatically think of those little red wagons. That’s why I was surprised to hear that they also make ride-ons, bikes, and even scooters for kids.

Now, Kiana has never really ridden a scooter before but she’s been wanting one so bad that we decide to give the Radio Flyer Style ‘N Ride Scooter ($39.99) a try. When we opened up the box we found the scooter to be in 3 pieces.

Putting it together was pretty easy . . . just attach the handle bars and the deck to the main shaft with the included screws. That’s it!

The great thing about this scooter is that you can adjust the height of the handle bars to ensure the safest ride for your child. We also liked that the base is a little wider than the normal scooters which is perfect for a beginner like Kiana.

However, probably the best part about the Style ‘N Ride Scooter is how pretty it is! You can customize it with the included colorful bands and stickers. Kiana decided that she wanted her name on her scooter.

Once we were done, we took the scooter for a test ride.

I was really surprised at how well Kiana did (just don’t ride over storm drain covers). She wasn’t able to glide for long periods of time but she did very well balancing and she didn’t fall even once. She did really well for her first time! She’s been having so much fun with her scooter and has been practicing every day since. It’s a great way for Kiana to get outdoors for some much needed exercise!

That scooter is super cute! I always loved the Radio Flyer brand and would have loved that when I was a young girl.
