I’ve always wanted to get an Advent Calendar for our home but I could never find one that I thought would be fun for the kids. So when we had the opportunity to review the Playmobil Advent Calendar, I was definitely interested! After all, we all know how much kids like Playmobil.

OUR REVIEW
When I first received our Advent Calendar, I didn’t realize that I would have to put it together myself. There are lots of little pieces but it only took me about 15 minutes to get everything together. Thank goodness they have a picture of which items go into which boxes.
Once I had all the boxes filled, I matched the numbers on them to the ones on the backboard. What I liked is that the tabs were long enough to ensure that the boxes would stay in place. We also liked the bright colors and cute cartoon images that decorated the calendar.
However, the best part was that this calendar also included a cardboard playset that the girls could use with the surprise treasures that they uncovered in the calendar. I thought this was a cool idea because it allowed the calendar to also serve as a fun toy. Of course, since they’re playing with all those pieces, I have to make sure that nothing gets lost so that we can reuse the calendar next year.
So if you’re looking for a Advent Calendar that’s a little different than those you usually see, check out Playmobil’s version. Your kids will love it!
