Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: I Heart Minnie

It’s Minnie Mouse’s birthday and the gang wants to throw a surprise party for her to celebrate. To get things organized, Daisy has put together a plan that includes cake, balloons, & yelling “surprise!”. It’s Goofy’s (and your child’s) job to be on the lookout for Minnie and to call out the warning code “polka dot” if they see her.

Throughout the episode the gang tries to stall Minnie from reaching the clubhouse by having her pick strawberries and play with a jump rope. She keeps asking her friends if they know why it’s a special day but they all pretend that they’ve forgotten about her birthday. In the meantime, they start baking a cake by counting the various ingredients and the correct number of balloons that they’ll need. This is all done with the help of Toodles and the Mousketools.

As Minnie sadly walks away from the clubhouse they call out to her and yell “Surprise” when she enters through the doorway. Of course, she’s thrilled that they remembered and they all gather around to watch her blow out her candle. It turned out to be a wonderful birthday celebration after all!

Additional episodes:

  • Minnie & Daisy’s Flower Shower (All-New, Never-Before-Seen) - The botanical highlight of the year is in trouble, unless Minnie and Daisy can get their flowers to bloom! Together, they board the glove balloon to help coax the clouds to sprinkle much needed rain.
  • Daisy’s Dance – Daisy is planning to dance in a talent show and she’s been practicing really hard. While showing Mickey her routine, Donald runs into the room and collides with Daisy, breaking her shoe. She has only 15 minutes to get her shoe fixed and ready for her performance. With the help of her friends and Toodles can she make it in time to go on stage?
  • Daisy’s Pet Project – There’s going to be a Pet Parade and the gang is excited to attend with their furry friends. Unfortunately, Daisy is the only one who does not have a pet to bring along. Her friends make some unusual suggestions on what the perfect pet for Daisy would be and she ends up with three new friends! It was a fun episode and we really enjooyed the new “giggle” song that was included in this segment!
  • Minnie’s Rainbow - After a brightly colored rainbow appears over the clubhouse, Minnie searches for the pot of gold that’s supposed to be at its end. Along the way, she meets a leprechaun and discovers that not all treasure turns out to be as she expected!

My kids have always loved the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes. I feel it’s a great way for them to learn about numbers, shapes, colors, and other simple lessons in a fun environment. Of course, the girls’ favorite part is the familiar Mouskadance song that’s played at the end of every show. They think it’s hilarious the way Goofy flaps his arms up and down when he’s dancing.

The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is a great way to spend some fun family time together!
