Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Earn Your Stripes

With budget cuts across the board, sometimes our neighborhood parks end up suffering from lack of funds or just poor maintenance. In this day and age of electronic games, television, and iPods parks are even more important than ever to ensure our kids lead a healthy lifestyle.

That’s why the Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes Earn Your Stripes campaign is such an important cause. It has initiated a call-to-action for a national field renovation program that kicks off on Super Bowl Sunday with a commercial entitled “Plant a Seed”.

This commercial focuses on the role we all play in building stronger communities and making a difference in kids’ lives. Because the Earn Your Stripes program is about inspiring kids to be their very best, “Plant a Seed” shows that before anyone can earn a single stripe, someone has to plant a seed and help give kids places to realize their promise and potential.

This campaign will reach over 50 fields across the United States and help to make our neighborhoods a great place for kids to play outdoors and stay active. Tune in and watch this amazing commerical today!

I would love something like that. The closest playgrounds to us are the schools & our school’s are very old. Our brand spanking new PTSA is working that goal but it is so slow going. It’s nice that the big companies are willing to help.
