Keep Your Climbing Toddler Safe with Toddle Lock

There’s a bunk bed in Kacie’s room that Kaila is in love with. Well, it’s not really the bunk bed that she loves but the ladder that takes her to the top. Now, being that Kaila is only 2 this is a concern for me. So what we’ve been doing is taking away the ladder whenever it’s not in use. What a pain in the butt.

Then I heard about Toddle Lock.

Toddle Lock is a barrier for ladders on bunk-beds, backyard play systems and above ground pools. Ladders are like magnets to toddlers who love to climb. Parents are often distracted multi-tasking and not always able to hover over little ones. Protect your toddler with Toddle Lock!

We received our Toddle Lock and found that it was so simple to use. It came as one piece which means that there was nothing to assemble. Just use the straps and buckles to attach Toddle Lock to the ladder and you’re all set.

The straps are adjustable so they fit on pretty much every ladder you have.

When Kaila first saw the Toddle Lock installed she was intrigued. Of course, she still tried to climb up the ladder but without any luck. Then she tried to climb up over the Toddle Lock but she still couldn’t get to the top bunk. After about 5 minutes she gave up and walked away. Success!

Now I know what you’re thinking . . . how does Kacie get up to the top bunk while Toddle Lock is installed? She’s tall enough to just climb over it by pulling herself up. She loves having the Toddle Lock installed because this means that her pesky little sister won’t mess up her bed or start ripping off posters from her wall.

Toddle Lock comes is 3 different heights

  • 11″ x 28″ ($39.99)
  • 14″ x 28″ ($42.99)
  • 16″ x 28 ($42.99)

With Toddle Lock installed, I have peace of mind knowing that Kaila won’t be climbing up that ladder anymore. Of course, this does not mean I don’t have to still keep an eye on her but at least I won’t have to constantly be there every single minute.

Protect your child from all the ladders in your home with Toddle Lock.

Thank you soooo much! I’ve been looking all morning for something like this (there’s another one that comes up but has been discontinued and/or not in stock), and I haven’t been successful. This is perfect! We just got our bunk beds last night and need to quickly find something to cover the ladder for our 21 month old who shares a room with her 4 year old sister (on the bottom) and 6 year old brother (on the top).
