Handy Manny – new episodes this weekend!

One of our family’s favorite shows on the Disney Channel is “Handy Manny”. Get this – I think my toddler might even have a little crush on the adorable handyman, who she calls “My Manny”. How cute is that?

Currently in production on its third season, “Handy Manny” has garnered an Environmental Media Award, a NAMIC Vision Award, a Media Access Award, a Genesis Award, as well Imagen and Alma Award nominations and, most recently, an Emmy Award nomination, and I can see why. I love how the show emphasizes the importance of teamwork and incorporates a few Spanish words into every episode.

One of the highlights of cartoons for me are the voices, and I think Wilmer Valderrama does Manny’s voice perfectly. Once in a while there are special guest stars, such as this coming Saturday (tomorrow) when “Happy Days” alumni Henry Winkler guest stars as Variety Store Owner Mr. Diller in an all new episode that airs at 8:30am ET.

If you miss tomorrow’s new episode, on Saturday, August 15th, there will be a “Handy Manny” marathon from 6am – 10:00am. ET/PT. Along with Henry Winkler, other guest stars featured in the marathon of episodes include Marion Ross, Broadway’s “Hairspray” alumni Shannon Durig and Ashley Parker Angel, and Lance Bass.
