Funky Monkey Snacks

I first heard about Funky Monkey on Twitter, and then one day at Target, I found a few packages of Funky Monkey.  There was only one flavor available, Bananamon, which I purchased, and as soon as we got home I gave it a taste and I enjoyed it!  But the real test was with Little Music Man.  Sure enough, he loved it too, so I couldn’t wait for us to try out Funky Monkey’s new flavors!

Funky Monkey Snacks have everything that you need and nothing that you don’t.  Each ounce of Funky Monkey contains 3 servings of real fruit and contains no added sugar or sweeteners and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Our snacks are 100% natural and 100% delicious!

We were fortunate to receive a pack each of the following new flavors: Applemon, MangOJ, and Pink Pineapple.

Smiley Boy, Little Music Man, and I enjoyed the Applemon flavor the most.  It was not too crunchy, and the apple cinnamon combination was just so yummy!

The Pink Pineapple tasted pretty good, and it was really crunchy, but too crunchy and hard for Little Music Man—he didn’t eat all of the pieces I gave him.  And since it was so crunchy I didn’t give any to Smiley Boy since I didn’t think he’d be able to bite into them.

Both boys enjoyed MangOJ.  It was a lot crunchier than the Applemon, but both boys seemed to enjoy them since they ate them all up!  This flavor was actually my least favorite of the three—the orange juice seemed a bit overpowering.

Overall, we enjoyed the Funky Monkey Snacks.  They are a tasty way to get my boys to eat more fruit, and I can’t wait to try the other flavors that Funky Monkey offers!
