Being a mom to 3 girls, I’m always busy driving around town whether it be to school, piano or taekwondo classes, swim lessons, or robotic exhibitions. And of course, the girls are always hungry the minute we step out the door. I used to make quick stops at drive-thru’s which may not always have been the healthiest choice but it sure was convenient. However, after a while the cost and the guilt started to catch up with me.
Then I thought . . . I could really save some money if I just packed snacks from home. Thankfully, I found Innobaby.
Innobaby is a Chicago-based company that was founded by two moms in 2006 with a mission to offer innovative solutions for smart parenting. Dedicated to deliver high-quality smart juvenile products for today’s busy parents, Innobaby is a pioneer in well-designed eco-friendly containers that are 100% recyclable. Innobaby’s six smart collections include products for food storage, food on-the-go, a silicone nursing system, stainless steel platters, organic bedding and natural seat toppers.
Keepin’ Fresh ($8.99): These 110 ml containers are the perfect size for Kaila’s needs. I can pack things like Mac ‘n Cheese, sliced fresh fruits, or even cereal to take along with us. The locking lid with specially designed hinges ensures that your food will stay fresh . . . and contained no matter how much it moves around in your diaper bag. You can even throw it into the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher which will definitely maximize it’s usefulness.
Packin’ Smart ($17.99): This 5-container tower has become one of my favorite baby items. I love that you can put 5 separate food items into these containers and then linked them all up for a mess-free diaper bag. I don’t know how many times I’ve desperately searched in my bag looking for a snack only to find Kaila insisting on something else. This way everything is in one place and Kaila can see what’s available and choose what she wants. I can even use some of the containers for pre-measured baby formula.
What I really like is the way each container becomes the lid for the container under it. This means less pieces to lose. The cover that goes onto the top container has a lid which the kids love to use. I get offers from Kacie and Kiana to carry this tower wherever we go. However, for me the best part is the design. The tower is taller than wide which makes it perfect for transporting it in my bottle cooler.
And of course, all Innobaby products are made from non-toxic highest quality food grade materials, are bisphenol-A (BPA) free and contain no phthalates, PVC or latex, proving to be completely safe for little ones.
