Some of our favorite family games are those that integrate happy smiling animals and easy to play directions. Elefun Snackin’ Safari definitely has both of these features.
In Elefun Snackin’ Safari, Elefun sniffs out snacks with his bouncing trunk! Preschoolers will race around the room with their Elefun friends as they try to find the silliest snacks. Whoever finds the most snacks wins!

The game comes with:
- 2 Snackin’ Safari Elephant Heads
- 2 Handles
- 2 Elephant Trunks
- 13 Snack Cards
- 2 Home Base Cards
Set-up was simple. Just snap in the colored handle to the back side of the Elephant Head and the Elephant Trunk to the front. That’s it!
There are several ways to play.
- Golden Tutti Frutti Cake – Place all the cards with the elephant image facing upwards. Have each child stand by their Home Base Card. When you say “GO”, both children run to the cards and pick one up using the Elephant Head. It was so funny to see the trunks swaying back and forth! Once a child picks up a card, they then run back to their Home Base and see which card they got. The first one to find the Golden Tutti Frutti Cake Card wins!
- Matching Snacks – You start out the same was as #1 but this time when the child goes back to Home Base, they slide off the card and immediately run back to get another one. The person who has the most pairs at the end of the game wins.
- Matching Colors – Again, start the same way. However, the winner is the person who collects all of their designated colored cards first.
Kiana really enjoyed playing this game but had some trouble with getting the suction cup to pick up the cards. It seemed like you had to make the trunk hit the card with a little bit of force for it to stick. I think it probably would have worked better if they had used magnets rather than a suction cup. But I guess if they used magnets the game would have gone by too quickly? In any case, Kiana decided to just sit and play her own Memory Game where she had to find matching pairs. She thought it was hilarious to have one Elephant Head in each hand and I could hear her laughing and picking up cards at the same time. She enjoyed playing with her Elefun Snackin’ Safari all afternoon long!
