Edible Arrangements: Cupcake Collection

As much as I love flower arrangements, there’s just something about receiving a delivery that is not only beautiful but delicious as well. We recently had the opportunity to review a selection from Edible Arrangement’s Cupcake Collection and we couldn’t wait for it to arrive!

The fresh Fruit Experts at Edible Arrangements unveil a celebratory product line debuting their brand new cupcake-shaped chocolate dipped pineapple. “As a brand Edible Arrangements is about life’s celebrations, and that is why we introduced our new Cupcake Collection. Cupcakes are a hot trend right now and our new Cupcake arrangements are the perfect way to incorporate fruit into any of life’s celebrations, no matter how big or small.” – Steve Thomas, CMO, Edible Arrangements

We received the Grand Confetti Fruit Cupcake with Dipped Strawberries ($93) and the kids couldn’t wait to dig into it! This beautiful arrangement included cupcake-shaped chocolate dipped pineapples, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, strawberries, chocolate dipped strawberries, and grapes . . . all in a festive plastic birthday cake container.

The great thing about this arrangement is that it’s all fruit (and chocolate) so it’s good for you, too. Normally, the kids do not eat melons but because these were displayed like kabobs they wanted to eat more and more. And of course, chocolate covered strawberries are my favorites so I had more than my share of those, as well. As for the chocolate dipped pineapples, we never had this combination before but they were so good! Pineapples are Kaila’s favorite fruit and she gave it two thumbs up!

I was very impressed by the presentation and the quality of the fruits. The pineapples were covered in white and semisweet chocolate with colorful sprinkles while the strawberries were dipped in semisweet. The fruits were fresh and sweet. Even my Dad – who can be hard hard to please sometimes – thought these were good.

The only thing was that some of the sticks were really hard to take out of the arrangement. And since the display is pretty tightly packed we had no choice but to grab the fruit in order to pull it out. This meant that some of the pineapple cupcakes got a little smashed.

Once everyone had their fill, we removed all the extra fruit and put them into a container to be enjoyed at another time. What a great fruit salad this made!

My husband received an arrangement a while back after completing a work project. It was truly amazing to see how the kids will try fruits they typically do not eat off a stick. Love the photos of Kaila enjoying the cupcake like one :)

    Mrs. EW says:

We received a delivery from Edible Arrangements: Cupcake Collection on the day Kailani had to work a trip and she called and asked us to accept the delivery.

My first impression was: Wow, what a beautiful fruit arrangement. I’ve received many beautiful flower and even candy arrangements, but this was the first time I’ve seen it done with fruits (what a wonderful concept).

Although we were all “dying” to sample the delicious-looking chocolate dipped fruits, we had to wait until Kailani returned from her trip (sigh…three days later) so she could do her review. As you can see even after three days in the refrigerator, the arrangement and fruits held up well and was simply delicious (as you can see by Kaila’s photo).

My favorite was also the chocolate dipped pineapple and chocolate dipped strawberries. Mr. EW loved the melons.

I would definitely say that this arrangement by Edible would make a beautiful and delicious gift for anyone who love fruits.
