My kids love Build-A-Bear. Unfortunately, our one and only Build-A-Bear store closed it’s doors and now the only way we can order them is online. My girls really miss going into the store and experiencing the whole process in person.

This holiday season, Build-A-Bear introduced Hal & Holly Moose. As usual, both animals are unbelievably soft and cuddly and my girls just love to give them hugs. My girls have tons of stuffed animals but they always go back to playing with their Build-A-Bear animals. Thank goodness they’re made so well because they’re going to have to stand up to many play sessions!
We received Hal the Moos all decked out in his snowboard outfit and ready to hit the slopes. DH is an avid snowboarder and he has been trying to get permission from the girls to take Hal as a mascot on his next snowboard trip. Uh, good luck DH! We also received Holly the Moose and she is just adorable! I really like that red bow on her head and her very long eye lashes.
We also received Holly and Hal Moose: Our Uplifting Christmas Adventure. In this book, Hal the day-dreamer aspires to fly with Santa’s reindeers. However, his sister Holly is not convinced that this is possible. But in the end they work together just in time for Santa’s famous flight.
This is the very first furry-inspired book to come from Build-A-Bear and we loved it! Not only is the story enjoyable but the illustrations are bright, colorful, and very engaging. I also really liked the various fonts that were used which added even more character to the story. However, what we liked best was how the paper cover of the book turned into a wall poster! How cool is that?
Hal & Holly make the perfect gift this holiday season!

This post was written for Team Mom and Build-A-Bear who provided the complimentary product for review in exchange for my honest opinions.

We love Hal and Holly Moose. They are helping to decorate our house right now, well they are in between the hugs and cuddles our family gives them.
Our pair has on the same outfits as your little girls ones do. They are so very cute. Hubby says he wants to take Hal on his motorcycle. I told him, no way. I’m afraid he might blow off, even if tied down.
Their little clothes are made so really well. I like how the little shoes come off and how they have little moose prints on the soles of the shoes.
You got to just love Build A Bear, they have something there for everyone.
They are adorable, and your girls look like they really love them. Thanks for a wonderful review.
