Backpacks by Eddie Bauer

One of the few items that’s not on my kids’ back-to-school list but is just as important to them are backpacks. It’s the one item (besides their shoes and clothes) that show off their individual style. The color, design, and functionality are all very important features to them. That’s why they were thrilled to check out the Eddie Bauer Adventurer Backpack in person.

We chose the Grape color combination and the rich color was the very first thing we noticed when we opened the box. There are 2 shades of purple, two shades of gray, and turquoise accents. We also noticed how well this backpack was made. All the seams are reinforced and top stitched, the plastic clips are durable, and the zippers slide easily.

However, what we liked best were all the compartments and pockets that help to keep you organized. First, there are 2 main compartments to the Adventurer Backpack. The back compartment has a separate section with a Velcro closure where you can keep your laptop or tablet. The rest of the area is one large space to hold all of your textbooks.

The second main compartment has a smaller zippered pocket, a mesh pocket, 2 longer slots for pens and pencils, and 4 flat areas to keep cards or your school I.D. There’s also a key fob so you’ll always have your keys handy.

On the outside, you’ll find 2 side pockets. One made of mesh which would be perfect for storing your water bottle.

The other side has a zippered mesh pocket for smaller items that you’d like to keep accessible like a cell phone or wallet.

And finally, there’s a larger mesh pocket covering the front of the backpack for maybe keeping a lightweight jacket or hoodie. Throughout the backpack you’ll find 8 adjustable straps to ensure the perfect fit for you and your things.

What we really liked about the Adventurer Backpack is that even with all these bells and whistles it’s not overly heavy when it’s empty. We also like the comfortable padded shoulder straps that connect with each other to ensure a comfortable and safe fit.

However, what my kids like best is that they think they look pretty cool wearing it. I agree.

Backpacks are DEFINITELY one of the most important things on the back to school shopping list. I don’t know how it is now, but when I was in school, all the school work was enough to weight a good backpack down to the ground o.O

I like the look of this one and the fact that it has all those pockets and compartments!
