Random Thoughts

January 26, 2008

  • Overheard at my house:
Girlie Girl: Mommy, Googlers are bad people, right?
Me: Googlers? Um, not if they’re searching for my blog.
Girlie Girl: Huh? No Mommy, Googlers! You know, the people who take things that’s not theirs.
    Me: Oh, burglerers! (sp?)

  • Stop by Props & Pans for my latest product review. It’s something that I personally endorse as one of the best things I’ve ever had the pleasure of reviewing. Well, after the iPod Nano, that is.
  • Thank you for all your advice on what to bring with us on our upcoming snow trip. I did end up buying those Cuddl Duds and I love it! I also got some great deals at Land’s End! Yay!
  • Don’t forget to come back on Monday for the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival. I’ll be giving away an Insignia Pilot Video MP3 Player. I’m not kidding!
  • And in celebration of Valentine’s Day:

My Valentinr - kailani
Get your own valentinr

Hope you’re all having a great weekend!

Girlie Girl cracks me up. Between her insights and Baby Bug’s mushy face, your family brings tons and tons of smiles to my face.

So glad Lands’ End could help you out. Half of my clothes (including outerwear and shoes) and most of my luggage come from them. I’ve been shopping with them for so long, I don’t know what I’d do if they ever went away!

Girlie Girl is hilarious! I once told my mom after a day at kindergarten that I had learned about “pil-a-grams” (also known as pilgrims). She was so confused until she asked the teacher what we had learned that day! Kids really do say the cutest things!!

I just love stuff like that that kids say. And be glad you have a blog so you can record it for posterity! You think you’ll remember that kind of stuff, but you don’t!

That valentine reminds me of the kind I used to get when I was younger and exchanged them. Ahhhhhh - to be young again. :)
