Going to Paris, France? Well, if you are, you may not want to google directions on how to get there.
I was over at Wendy’s place where she posted the following:
- Go to Google.com
- Click on Maps
- Click on Get Directions
- Type in from New York, New York to Paris, France
- Check out line #23
C’mon, I know you’re just dying of curiosity!

LOL! At first I thought WOW, that’s alot of directions, but #23, that’s a riot!! Google can’t be serious!!
11:28 am
WOW! LOL…Google: they really have thought of everything!
Thanks for the great laugh this morning.
12:16 pm
Ok..i checked it out..thats pretty funny. I wonder how many people will give it a try.
1:06 pm
Ummm…what if you can’t swim? What are you supposed to do?
Better yet: Do I need to go into Olympic training just to make it over there?
Pretty funny stuff!

2:17 pm
ROTFL you know I had to check that one out!
2:18 pm
I got that in an email yesterday so I had already tried it. Pretty funny!
2:29 pm
Thanks for the laugh! I needed that soooo much this morning!!
2:53 pm
Oh that’s so funny! I bet the folks at Google had a lot of fun setting that up. I wonder what they say about getting from LA to Hawaii?
2:54 pm
We could not calculate driving directions between Los Angeles CA and Honolulu Hawaii.
Oh well.
2:54 pm
and just like a SHARK I bit.
I’m a horrid swimmer. I know you aren’t the best one either.
I think I”ll fly first class with you, instead.
3:45 pm
Thanks for making my dreadfull snowy morning laughable!! Too funny!
4:29 pm
Google obviously have a great sense of humor. Thanks for the info…atleast I know how to get to France without having to pay for an airline ticket. Think about the money you’ll save…and not to mention the weight loss would be incredible! haha!
5:24 pm
I fear I may get pruny.
5:46 pm
that is a riot, I’m sending this to everyone I know.
7:51 pm
That is truly hilarious. How fun that they thought to put it in there.
8:09 pm
Seeing as I can’t swim from one side of my pool to the other, I’d better not attempt a trip to Paris!!!
Too funny! Thanks for posting that!
8:11 pm
Oh how funny! You can bet I’ll never go to Paris by way of New York!
Oh and I got to see your Flat Stanley adventures that you sent to Drama Queen! You are so creative! I loved looking at everything you sent. I have got to come to Hawaii sometime. Too bad I’m not flat….

ha ha I saw this one elsewhere. You know what’s weird is that if you switch the locations to a different NA spot and a different European spot, the map quest always takes you to NY and has you swimming over to France or England (I think), first and traveling all over hell’s half acre to get to where you really want to go in Europe. I think it’s a google maps bug. he he
Thanks for playing along with my Itty Bitty TT! LOL
3:19 am
LOL, yeah I saw this, it’s apparently everywhere right now. I passed an office at the university today and one of the secretaries was doing it
12:47 pm
O laugh out loud! I’ll have to invest in a good bathing suit and someone to pull me.
I’ll have to try that for other places, like Australia.
3:45 pm
Heehee! I wonder if this is the same person who worked for Google and recently Spelled it wrong on an advertisement.
5:49 pm
I had to check, that is so funny!
When I have more time to waste I want to check out San Francisco to Tokyo.
But…what are you supposed to do with your car while you are swimming? You need it for the US portion, and you will need it again upon arrival in France, provided you make it!
Thanks for the laugh!
7:52 pm
LOL It said the estimated travel time was 29 days. I know it would take me longer than 29 days to make that trip!!!
11:22 pm
Shark Bait - ooo haaa haa!
5:25 am
That’s too funny! The funniest one for me was on #24, swim across the Atlantic ocean!
When I looked at #23 at first I thought, well, that’s a strange name for a road!! LOL!
(I'll take good care of it.)
