This has been a long and exhausting weekend for various reasons. Instead of bore you with the details, I thought I’d just mention some bloggy things going on right now.
- As most of you know, I’m headed for Tahoe next month. Although I would love to post my daily experiences, realistically I know I won’t. I’ll be too busy trying to defrost in front of the fire and cursing myself for not going to Disneyland instead. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you would like to guest post while I’m gone. I was thinking of having maybe 3 guest slots so if by some miracle there are more than 3 people interested, then I’ll just take the first 3 to contact me. I would prefer the posts be of a somewhat informative nature and focus on the subjects that I usually blog about but hey, I guess beggars can’t be choosy. (okay, you know that I’m the beggar in this senario, right?) Please email me or you may use the contact form above.
- I had the opportunity to meet with one of my favorite bloggers - Memarie Lane. You know she just has to be someone extra special for me to agree to be interviewed in person. Go check it out!
- This week’s edition of 5 Minutes Around the Blogosphere is up. I can’t believe it’s my 20th edition already. Don’t forget to let me know if you have something you’d like to include in an upcoming post.
- Last week I emailed the Valentine’s Day Goody Swap partners out. If you haven’t received it yet, please let me know.
- The Carnival of Family Life is up at A Child Chosen. There’s some really great stories there!

Have fun at the Hannah Montana! I just heard they grossed 29 million over the weekend. Which is saying a lot considering it’s in 3D and limited as to WHERE they can show the thing. So, yeah, it’s big. *grin*

Have fun at the Hannah movie. We went over the weekend, and it was a LOT of fun. Grant danced through the whole thing.

We saw the very first showing of the HM concert here in Central Ohio. It was….eh. As theater people we were fascinated by the backstage stuff so we would have enjoyed seeing way more of that. At $15 a ticket, it’s no wonder they grossed so much money. I mean, really, they only had to sell HALF as many tickets in order to make the same amount of money.

I have a friend who is taking her daughter to see the Hannah 3d thing…I hadn’t even heard about it. Luckily DD isn’t really a fan.
re: the cookie thing…you’re absolutely right. I have already sold those “extra” cookies and I still want to have extras when I deliver because someone will ALWAYS ask “Do you have any Extra?” *sigh*

when you are in tahoe, look to the southwest (about 90 minutes drive away and wave (real big so i can see you)!
the skiing/.snowplay conditions are great and tahoe never looked more glorious so have fun.

ooo we went to see hannah montana 3-d this past friday. we and my 5 yo rocked out the whole time. miley is truly talented. it was a great show! you gals and DH will looove it!

Tahoe sounds OK..but I would rather bein Hawaii!! I love warm weather. I have to say, I really can’t stand the cold!!!
