Since I’m still trying to catch up with Bloglines, I’ve decided to play another round of Blog My Blog. For those who are new to this, here’s how it works.
I will start with a question/phrase. The next person that comments, please answer the question above you. Once you’re done, include a question for the next visitor to answer. It could be a general question, fill in the blank sentence, or a general topic you’d like to hear about.
Then the next commenter will submit their answer and then think up something for the next person. Keep in mind that this is a family blog, so please keep it clean.
Shall we begin?
Are you a night owl or a morning person?
The first person to comment should answer this question and then leave another question for the next person.
Have fun!

Yes and I love it. Most of the time. My normal bedtime is around 6:00 am.
Here’s my question.
Have you started shopping for Christmas yet?
11:15 am
I have started shopping for Christmas, but only for little things like play doh. Been doing a lot of price comparison. Im hoping to finish by Dec. 1st.
Here’s my question:
What do you do to keep in touch with who you are, besides being a mom or a wife?
11:48 am
I try to pursue my hobbies….such as “blogging” and my horses. I am pregnant right now so my horses are having to stay at a safe distance
My question is if you could trade places with someone for 24 hours who would it be and why?
11:54 am
To be honest, I’m not sure that I would want to!! I’m really happy where I am. Of course it would be nice to just relax for an entire day, so maybe my son!!
Here’s my question:
What is your favorite part of the day?
1:02 pm
I’d have to say around 11:00 pm. I’m a night owl and this is my time to be by myself and relax.
Here’s my question:
If you were stuck on an island in the middle of the ocean and only had one food that you could eat and you could choose that food, what would that one food be?
1:13 pm
If I were in that situation I would choose pizza!!! I love pizza.
Here is my question:
What kind of movies do you like?
1:28 pm
Depends on my mood - usually either romantic comedies or action/adventure. Or a good mystery…
What is your favorite color and why is it your favorite?
1:29 pm
I like a lot of different kinds of movies. Comedies, dramas, documentaries. I’m more certain about what I don’t like — action movies or anything with lots of blood and guts. For this reason, Hubbz and I haven’t been to a movie in the theatre together in years. Because I’m not the kind of person who will just go to see a movie because it’s there. I have to know going in that I’m going to enjoy it — or at least be relatively certain.
My question is:
What is one thing from your childhood you hope to pass on to your kids?
1:51 pm
Hmmm. Looks like Jill and Deb - Mom of 3 Girls answered the SAME QUESTION! I guess that means I get to answer TWO questions. Alright, I can do this.
Deep breath…
My favorite color is any and every jewel tone. They’re vivid and cheerful - kinda like me!
What one thing from my childhood would I pass on to my kids? That they are loved, no matter what. My mom made a lot of mistakes but I have never, EVER doubted that she loved me. I want my kids to have that same security and assurance!
Now, for the next person: Someone just came through your house and stole every stitich of clothing that wasn’t on your body. What is the first replacement item you’d buy and why?
2:44 pm
Shoes, because I’m a total shoe freak!
Seriously, probably a casual dress that could be washed easily so that I’d have a second thing to wear while I shop for more clothes. Sigh. I’m so practical.
Coke or Pepsi?
2:47 pm
Definitely coke - pepsi just doesn’t have that extra oomph i it!
What is or was your biggest regret?
2:47 pm
Pepsi! I’m such an addict! Ha Ha! Once at the State Fair I took the Pepsi Challenge and chose Pepsi. LOL!
Are they coming for the holidays or are you going? (is the family coming to you, or are you going to them?)
2:48 pm
oops! I missed that one!
biggest regret: an exboyfriend.
Are they coming for the holidays or are you going? (is the family coming to you, or are you going to them?)
3:01 pm
I stay home and have a relaxing day with my close family.
Question:
What was your most embarrassing moment??
3:01 pm
I’ll be 8-9 months pregnant for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I’m staying put! (All our family lives in town anyway, so I’m sure we’ll still get together)
What is your favorite magazine (when you have time to read one)?
3:04 pm
Man! i was too slow on that one!
Most embarrassing moment would have to be a face plant full-out fall in the lobby of my first job (a Nissan dealership). I was wearing ridiculously high platform heels, and I was only 16, so I was mortified.
What is your favorite magazine (when you have time to read)?
3:10 pm
This is fun.
Jet magazine.
My question is:
Why is mom’s name called 100 times before any attempt to call out for dad?
3:20 pm
LOL! That’s EASY! Because MOM is the reliable source! And usually Mom is around more than Dad - but not always.
My question:
What is something “special” you like to do when you’re together with your girl friends?
3:51 pm
Get together and gossip, oops, I meant gab. *grin*
Which are you more likely to wear on a normal day - sweater or turtleneck?
3:53 pm
What a loaded question. I could take it so many places, but this is a family blog. I’m in a new town so I don’t have any friends here yet. In FL my favorite thing was Book Club.
What was your favorite pair of shoes ever?
3:58 pm
Q: Which are you more likely to wear on a normal day - sweater or turtleneck?
A: Turtleneck
Q: What was your favorite pair of shoes ever?

Q: If you can trade faces with anyone, who would you like to trade faces with?
4:10 pm
Q: If you can trade faces with anyone, who would you like to trade faces with?
A: Princess Grace of Monaco - may she rest in peace. She had the face of timeless beauty.
Here’s my question - What book have you read more than once and why?
6:03 pm
I hardly reread books but I do watch movies that I like over and over again, like “the Princess Bride” or “Immortal Beloved” just to name a few.
My question is: If you can change one thing in your life, what would it be and why?
6:13 pm
I’m way too hard on myself and agonize over the silliest things. I wish I could learn to let the small things go and not beat myself up every chance I get. I wouldn’t let anyone else!
My question: what is one home improvement project still unfinished in your home?
6:19 pm
Switching my gas stovetop to a ceramic electric stovetop. I want the easy “one swipe and it’s clean” clean up!
Where is your favorite place to go swimming?
6:56 pm
Well, if it’s not on a regular basis ie. vacation, I would have to say the beach in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. It’s the clearest water I’ve ever been in.
On more realistic terms, the pool at my parents’ condo - no one’s hardly ever there except me and the kids, so it’s like our own private pool!
My question: are you a glass half - full or half-empty type of person?
7:08 pm
Oh I am SO half-full! Half full to overflowing actually! Always positive.
Question: What EXTREME sport would you like to give a try — if, of course, you had any nerve!
7:13 pm
I would like to think that I am a glass half full type of person. I tend to look for the good in things.
Q: Hilary or a man?
7:15 pm
I guess I missed out on the half full, so I guess I would bungee jump.
Q: Hilary or a man?
7:43 pm
Oh my! I have to play again because of the question, Hillary or a man.
The person BEST for the job is my answer. Women should not vote for a woman just because she’s a woman and a black person shouldn’t vote for a black person just because they’re black. Vote for the person BEST qualified for the job.
Ouch, did I take the fun out of it?
Question:
Sunny day or thunder storm?
8:20 pm
Thunder storm. I love the monsoons here in the Summer time. Since we have very few rainy days, it feels like heaven when it does rain.
What was the last movie you saw?
9:36 pm
If you mean a movie shown on tv then it’s one of the “Land Before Time” movies number 9 (I think).
If you mean at the cinema then the last one I saw was Terminator 2, not 3 but 2 - how sad is that?
My question is “what is your biggest fault?”
10:05 pm
Oy! My biggest fault is that I am far too judgmental!
My question:

12:02 am
Candy Corn.
I’m looking for new music. What do you recommend?

1:14 am
I wish I could dance. I’m too embarrassed too even try.
How did your parents choose your name?
1:55 am
My mom loved the show “Get Christie Love” when she was pregnant with me so she named me Christie but spelled it with a K and minus the “Love”. She couldn’t get my dad on board with a middle name of “Love”. I actually think “love” makes an awesome middle name.
My question is: If you were an animal what animal would you be?
1:56 am
Double name. First for my maternal grandmother, second for my maternal aunt.
Q: if you could go back and choose any other career what would it be and why?
1:57 am
Ouch! slackermommy got there first!
If I were an animal I’d be a cat. Ahhh, the life of a pampered kitty.
Q: if you could go back and choose any other career what would it be and why?
4:23 am
I would be a doctor. Because I know i would have been excellent - as I am keenly aware of people and their problems.
If you could go up in the space shuttle - The Discovery took off this morning by the way - what experiment would you like to do in space.
4:08 pm
I would love to experiment with chocolate in space… all forms of chocolate
Though I suppose hot chocolate could be dangerous
If you were guaranteed a a contract from a publisher, what type of book would you write?
mary mert’s last blog post..Wordless Wednesday- World On Fire
12:02 am
If I were guaranteed a contract to publish something, I would opt to publish a poetry book (because I have done quite a few- some published in school paper :D).
Or a children’s book. Or a mathematics review material for engineering students. But definitely not a biography -my bio, that is. Heheh.
If your life could be summarized in a song, what is that one song?
zamejias [verb]’s last blog post..Wordless Wednesday: Lobster

What is the one place in the world that you love?
11:34 am
I like the little town I grew up in. Manitou Springs. It was fun, and at that time safe, todays world may have changed that a little, anyway, we just got to run around all day, and play. Great place. ( I have never really been anywhere, so that could change before I die)
Q: What is your favorite part of Christmas? (Start getting everyone started with Christmas spirit now)
Striving\Tessa’s last blog post..
