When you think of the women in your life is there someone who stands out above and beyond the rest? A woman committed to change, that gives her time and energy selflessly to those in need?

Points of Light Institute partners with L’Oreal Paris to proudly recognize these unsung heroes with the Women of Worth program. In its sixth year, the Women of Worth program strives to recognize ten women who are committed to distinguishing their own lives by making a difference in the lives of others.

All of our Women of Worth have stories worth telling. Like Lisa Williams, a 2010 honoree who devotes more than 60 hours a week to combating human sex trafficking of children by providing safe refuge, therapeutic care and educational services to young victims.

You still have time to nominate the special woman in your life! Click here for more details and please share your heroine’s story!

L’Oreal Paris will donate $10,000 to the cherished cause of each of the ten women selected. They will also get a chance to be recognized as the National Women of Worth Honoree.
