If your family is anything like mine, you probably have tons of leftovers after your Thanksgiving celebrations. Personally, I don’t mind since turkey is one of my favorite foods. However, after a couple of days even I start to get a little tired of it. But what do you do with all the leftovers besides make soups and sandwiches? Well, Safeway’s Leftover Lounge has some delicious suggestions. How about some Chili Turkey Wraps, Turkey Enchiladas, or Turkey Bread Pudding? These sound so great that next time I’m going to purposely order a larger bird!
Now, I have never actually made a turkey before mainly because I just don’t have the time. But I can’t use that as an excuse anymore since Safeway has shared their secret on how to cook a turkey in only 2 hours. Can you believe that? I think I may have to give it a try this Christmas for our family get-together. And thanks to Safeway who provided me with a $50 gift card to their store, I’ll be able to get all the sides to go along with the main dish . . . gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry, and even a pumpkin pie. I’m a loyal Safeway customer and I know how far $50 can go there.
So if you’re looking for some ono (delicious) recipes for the holidays or just a way to spruce up your leftovers, stop by Safeway & the Leftover Lounge. They’ll help make your holiday meals something to remember.
