With back-to-school in full swing, you’re probably thinking of ways to pack delicious yet healthy lunches for your kids. Well, Safeway has recently partnered up with Warner Bros. to introduce a brand new line of food featuring Looney Tunes characters in their Eating Right Kids Program. They make great choices for lunches, snacks, and for when you need to get dinner on the table quickly.
Eating Right Kids is the first program dedicated solely to a healthier eating lifestyle for kids while incorporating fun characters. It’s a great way to teach children that eating healthy can also be fun.
“The Warner Bros. Consumer Products partnership will allow us to extend the Eating Right brand to a line of products that will appeal to children, and at the same time give parents the comfort that these products are healthier choices,” said Mike Minasi, Safeway President, Marketing. “Integrating such well-recognized characters into our brand architecture will make the line more attractive to our target audience and augment the line’s success.”
What I like best about the Eating Right Kids line is that these are food items that my children are already familiar with – cereal bars, fruit cups, pastas, apple juice, etc. They also come in kid sizes perfect for smaller appetites and easy to fit into lunch bags.
So the next time you’re at Safeway, don’t forget to stock up on items from the Eating Right Kids line and help promote healthier eating!
This post was written as part of a program for Team Mom, Safeway, & Warner Bros. who supplied the items for review.

Wow, Kailani! That looks great! I love that the foods come in small servings, my toddler doesn’t eat much at one time but eats often! Haha! This would be perfect to keep in my diaper bag for when we are out and about and in the middle of getting errands done she always gets hungry! It’s funny for a little girl who is always just a little off the bottom of the doctor’s growth charts, she sure eats frequently! I’m going to have to check these out, I love that they are easy and healthy, too.
These look terrific for my grandson to take to preschool while his mom goes to work, she teaches high school and has to get up early, so it is hard to get them all ready and out the door with healthy lunches and snacks. Plus he loves cartoons, so I know that these would appeal to him as he is a big pasta and apple juice lover.
Thanks so much for the review, I’ll make sure to pass the info onto my DIL.
Counting down the days to daughter #3… yippee…..
