Pregnancy Update

Thank you to everyone for your well wishes and healing prayers. I really do appreciate it.

I’m almost 12 weeks along and still suffering from severe morning sickness. It’s so bad that sometimes I can barely get out of bed in the morning. It almost feels like I’m not living but just trying to survive through each day. Pretty sad, huh? I try to remember that this is all a good thing but when you’re sick every single waking moment of the day, it sometimes gets hard to focus on the positive, you know?

But I just wanted to let you know that I’m still here even though posting is not quite what it usually is.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter celebration!

You are almost there! I know how you feel, and it is sort of like life stopped but you are still moving in slow motion through the most miserable time in your life, lol.
Seriously, I don’t think time ever moves as slowly as when you are that sick for that long.

You will be through this in no time, though!

  12. Renee says:

Hugs! Did you say this goes on for you the entire pregnancy? I sure hope not. Sometimes I wonder about the “logic” of being so sick during pregnancy.

  21. Ruth says:

If it’s any consolation, they say the higher degree of hormones, the more morning sickness, but the healthier the baby . . . if that helps at all!

And it seems to get more difficult as you get older, too, doesn’t it? Take it easy; a healthy and safe delivery is the most important thing.

Oh, and just surviving the day? Believe me, I can relate. Some days, it’s not easy having a chronic condition.

  27. Jamie says:

Glad to hear things are going OK…hope the morning sickness subsides soon!

  28. Claudia Franson says:

I know it’s not easy but try to make yourself eat some cereal or crackers when you get up. It really does make the morning sickness go away for the day faster.
