A Plant is Reborn

Remember this post? Well, for those of you who were asking, here is the update.

We eventually decided to call Grandpa up and beg him to take the plant back. When we got there, he was shocked at how fast the poor thing withered up. Did we keep it out of direct sunlight? Yes. Did we water every day? Yes. Not too much water, right? Nope.

He said he would take care of it but he wasn’t making any promises.

This was about a week ago. Last night we went to their house for dinner and of course the first thing Girlie Girl asked when we walked into the house was, “How’s my plant??

Here it is. Looks like it’s getting a second chance at life. Thank you Grandpa!

I’m glad Girlie Girl’s plant is surviving. Grandpa will have to show her all his plant saving tricks!

Wisdom is a hard thing to pass along in word. It is the touch that is known through experience. Perhaps His gift to you is to experience him in his wisdom.
Thank you for the heads up on upcoming events. I appreciate your sweet kindness through the comments. They are like hugs to my spirit.
    Be embraced!

Green thumbs Kailani. In my family, my paternal grandma, my dad and I have them, my mom and sis don’t.

Oh wow, Grandpa rocks! He’s the plant whisperer isn’t he?! I was worried about that plant, now I know I don’t have to any longer. You didn’t need a laundry room plant anyway…just took up too much room! xo
