Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

All the wonderful fresh fruits!
sleeping in since I’m on summer break!
Going for walks, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries!!
Grapes and corn being in season!!!! Those are some of the few fruits and veggies I will actually eat.
Lazy afternoons in the shade of a tree with a cool breeze blowing at my toes.
Flowers, picnics, BBQs, fresh fruit and the sun.
I guess being outside more or less depending on how hot it gets here in Florida. I love flowers and swimming in the pool. If my husband was here we would be at the ocean a lot but he just left on a 6 month deployment over seas. I love warm evenings also
Evening bbq’s and fireflies.

My favorite thing is that my husband will be home!! He is a teacher and I get to have help all summer… YIPPEE!!
Too funny, my answer is the same as Kari’s. Hubby is home for the summer so I have help with the kids.
I live in Florida so about the only difference is it’s warmer and more humid!
I would have to say the fresh fruits and vegetables.

Sleeping in, of course! Playing in the yard with the kids is pretty fun too, but not nearly as much fun as getting a good nights sleep!

My Daughter says; Anything to do with Water, Waterparks, Swimming,Rafting, Oceans, Bays,Lakes,ect. Water and Summer goes together.
A more laid back hubs…we take some vacations, grill some burgers, eat loads of fruit and stay up late watching movies. He runs on sunshine, and I run on a happy hubs!
Just being outside! Not having to drive somewhere or make a huge effort to have a nice day…

I love spending more time with my family. Also enjoy all of the amazing fruits and veggies available.

I love going to the beach with Alex. I’m also a huge fan of skirts and sundresses with sandals.
I love the beach AND the pool. Watching my daughters splash and play (ahem, while I sip a Martini) is priceless!
Sleeping in! No agenda! The pool and beach! Flip Flops! What is not to love about Summer? I love every single bit of it.
Oooh! That’s hard, because summer is like one big present! I love everything about it. But, one of my favorite things would be the longer days. I just love that twilight time where the heat from the day is letting up and we’re outside in the yard enjoying the last of the day.

I don’t know that I can actually pick just one thing. I love fresh fruit, I love being able to get out and enjoy the parks in the area!
Generally I love the heat of the summer and being able to get out and enjoy swimming and the water but so far this summer has been cold and raining.

I love just about everything exept for the bugs. I love going to the park with my boys! I love baseball games, all the fresh fruits, having grill outs with family and frinds, going swimming, going to the zoo, taking walks!!

I LOVE almost everything about summer! Although the heat and humidity in July and August in Virginia gets really snarly – ha! LOVE waking up early in the morning and seeing the sun and the flowers and all the bird noises – just feeling so alive!! Happy week-end to all!

The smell of the beach!! Always good, but even better in Summer:)
Being outside with the kids and not having to bundle them up so much. It gets so cold here in Minnesota during the winter (and fall and spring). I love being able to go outside without a jacket. I especially love the foods like BBQ and fresh fruit!
Typically I’d say the warm weather, the travel, the family parties, trips to the beach – but this summer is so different from normal ones for me – we won’t be doing family parties, we may not make it to the beach much, the warm weather is kind of killing me at this point of the pregnancy and travel? We just moved 1,000 miles away – that’s travel enough for me. So I’ll say – lemonade, ice cream and grilling (inside) – what better to celebrate a season than food when you are pregnant?

Flip Flops! I hate socks and shoes and love the summer because I can live in my flip flops.
I don’t have one favorite thing…just like each of the other seasons, I enjoy the unique weather/outdoor activities, food, and holidays!

I just stumbled upon your blog and think this is an amazing thing to do! Awesome question, too! I answered it at my blog (http://better-than-coffee.blogspot.com/) but it’s mostly getting to watch the sunset while it’s still warm out, and the beach!

Yard sales, fairs, and festivals are a few of my favorite summer things.
