Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
What would you like to thank your Mom for this Mother’s Day?

Giving me life and teaching me how to be a mom.
I would like to thank my mother for being herself. She has taught me the importance of being with family and how to be a good mother.
Happy Mother’s Day all
Teachig me that it’s okay to fail–what’s important is that you try again.
I would like to thank her for my life and always being there for me.
For her patience with me over the years!!
Her unconditional love through the years, her being there for me
For putting up with me when I was 13-19!

I would like to thank my mom for never giving up on me.
For being a great mom and even greater grandmother. She always is willing to lend me a helping hand when I’m on the brink of mommy insanity!
Thanks mom for my b-day present, I got THE BEST pair of boots
For giving me life. My mom is complicated and sometimes I just don’t know about her. That may sound harsh, but if you knew how crazy she is, you’d understand.
I’d like to thank her for warning me that “someday, you’ll have kids of your own and see for yourself” — she was right…I love her more now than ever.
Happy Mother’s Day Mommy…yay for baby on the way — hope you are feeling better these days!
I would like to thank my mom for always being there for me and my family and making my daughters feel absolutely loved by their grandma!
for being a realist and understanding me as a teenager and young adult.
For always being there when I needed to talk and listening to EVERYTHING I had to say. Still….
For putting up with me! I was a terror as a teenager.

For all of the help that she’s given me over the years, and for being so involved with her granddaughters’ lives.
I’m thankful to my mom for guiding me and supporting me in everything.
for being there when ever I wanted too
for being there ………… always
Pregnant. It ain’t happening though.
I’d like to thank her for watching my kids while I went to school. Without her I wouldn’t have my degree
For the way she worked all of her life to provide for two kids that did not realize until years later what an amazing thing that she did on a waitress salary.
For always being there
My mother taught me to be myself….my dad taught me to follow my dreams…
My mom is still alive- it’s been a tough year for her.
I would like to thank my mom for always being there for me, being a great Mom and a great grandma!
I would like to thank her for being such an outstanding grandmother to my children. They are the luckiest boys in the world!
I would like to thank her for never waivering. What a great role model.
for really just being an all around amazing mom
Can I say everything?? She’s the greatest, and if I end up to be half as close to my kids when they’re grown as I am to my own mother, I’ll be satisfied.
For all of her support and love when I was a child. Now that I have children of my own, I realize what a sacrifice it is and how much hard work goes into raising children. She did a wonderful job!
I can’t possibly answer this question simply. There are SOO many things to thank her for. One thing I can share to thank her for is for her support to me as I learn about being a mom…soon to be mom of 2.
I could go on and on but that would take forever.
For being so great at taking care of us when we need her the most.

My mother and I don’t have a terribly normal relationship so this question is sadly not easy for me to answer – but you know I thank her for giving me life.
