Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
What would you like to thank your Mom for this Mother’s Day?

For showing me how to be a great mom!
I would like to thank her for always being supportive no matter what. Even when she didn’t believe I was making the right choices, she always believed in me and encouraged me to be myself, stand for my own convictions, and believe in me. She also taught me the value of family.
I will thank her for her unconditional love and support and for giving my kids that best Granny on the planet!
My Mom has taught me to be understanding of peoples flaws and not to judge others.
Well, I was not as fortunate as some of you, but I will give her this. She showed me what not to do. =) My blog post is all about props to myself! LOL.
For telling me to do what makes me happy and not what others think I should do!
I’ve actually been thinking about this a lot recently. I would love to thank my mom for being a stay at home mom the whole time I was small and then only taking a job while I was in school when I got older. There is just something to be said about a mom who takes you to school and picks you up from school
For her strength and teaching me to be strong. She has been through it all and still never gives up. I love you mom!
I would thank my mom for her always un-conditional love, and for being everything and more a mother should be.
I’m looking forward to Mother’s Day because my parents will be arriving at our house that afternoon. They live 400 miles away, so I’m looking forward to their visit! I’d thank her for everything she’s done for me. She’s a great Mom and my best friend!
I would thank her for helping my family out as much as she does…although we live in different states, she helps by sending clothes for the kids to help alleviate some of our expenses. She also always watches them when I need to travel with my husband for business!
I would like to thank my mom for putting up with all my crap over the years, especially my angsty teenage years! And also for watching my kids whenever I ask her, if she’s not busy. She never turns down time with her grandkids!
For always being there for me, teaching me that family is what’s most important, for never saying “I told you so” and for loving all of us unconditionally.
I’d like to thank my Mom for teaching me to have good manners. I’ve recently seen a few young ladies with table manners that would gag you. I told them “nice young ladies don’t eat salad with their fingers.” I’d whack one of mine if they did that…..we were in a restaurant.
It would be the fact that even though she had obstacles she kept me and my sisters and brothers together. We could of ended up separated and I am just so glad that that didn’t happen.
We’ll go with my gram on this one…and I’d thank her for stepping in and taking the place of my mother! I love her dearly!
I’d like to tell my mom thanks for being a stay-at-home mom. We were never alone.
I would thank my mom for being such a great friend to me and being there for me for anything! Happy Mother’s Day everyone!!
for all the years of hard work — for what was mostly a thankless job.
She’s gone, so I have to hope she knew I would remember her and miss her.
I would thank my Mom for loving me without judgment. Even when she doesn’t agree with me, I always know how very much she loves me!
Just thanks for the love. I’d want her to know she is appreciated.
I would like to thank my mom for teaching me how to love and to forgive. She spent her life making sure that all 7 of us were well fed and loved. She taught ne how to cook and to sew and taught me about the trees. Most of all,she taught me about Jesus.
