Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
What do you feel is the best way to attract visitors to a blog?

Doing things like this, and going to the other blogs and commenting.
I am still trying to figure that out! lol
I think regular posting about things other people can relate to always helps.
Memes bring in the most traffic for me. I use Twitter to help bring traffic to my site and join sites like Mombloggersclub and Twittermoms.
If you GIVE LOVE, you GET LOVE!
free stuff (aka giveaways)
By visiting other’s blogs & leaving comments and going back. Sometimes a Giveaway might help, write interesting posts. Just be yourself!
Definitely giveaways, and big money giveaways at that! Also commenting and visiting other’s blogs is a great way to introduce others to visit your blog.
I try to visit other sites that I haven’t been to before and comment.
I think participating in memes and visiting other blogs
Comments, emails, memes, link love, helping others, reviews & giveaways, well-written SEO articles and tutorials, and most importantly, fresh, good, attracting content in your niche.
There’s so many things… commenting, daily memes, entrecard, giveaways, writing interesting posts and the list goes on and on
Having a meme, and also commenting on other peoples blogs…
I have found that these memes seem to attract the most visitors.
A unique and memorable design, such as yours, is a good start.
I think the best way to attract visitors is to be REAL and be yourself. Be funny, happy, sarcastic, whatever your true nature is. Because it comes out in your writing and readers can tell when you are trying to be someone you’re not.
Happy Friday! Hope you’re feeling better today
Leaving good comments on other people’s sites would most likely result to a return visit. It’s a good start of establishing common interests.
Commenting on other blogs has brought people to mine. I like blogs that update often and I’m a sucker for pictures.
Tough question! I really have no idea. I’ve only been blogging for about 4 months so I’m still learning what works and what doesn’t. I will say that participating in carnivals such as yours is a great way to attract new visitors to your blog! Every time I participate in one my visitor count goes way up and I often get 1 or 2 new subscribers.
I think that doing things like Quotable Sundays, Wordless Wednesdays, and Aloha Fridays are a great way to get new visitors. I know that is how get to other blogs.
It seems to me that visiting other people’s blogs and commenting so they know you’ve been there is probably the best thing you can do – and memes – love the memes!

I think the best thing to do is just be yourself. Don’t worry about traffic and just have fun.
Visit others you run across that see to fit your personality and style. Leave encouraging and supportive, but honest, comments. Again, just be yourself.
Thanks for asking. Thanks for hosting. Take care of yourself and your family.

I think that if you leave comments on blogs, people will visit yours! Giveaways are a big hit too!
Probably to simply visit their blog and leave a comment.
I think giveaways is the best way —
obviously I’m not doing that.
Like Kila said above … another way is to be a commenter.
An attractive website gets them there, but real content keeps them there.
