Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
What is your greatest strength?

I am pretty laid back. After having kids, it seems like I am pretty good at going with the flow – like I realized what is truly important in life and don’t let the little things get to me.
That one is easy – my positive attitude.
I am a natural nurturer. I love to take care of people and I excel the most in it.
Wow…I don’t know! Maybe determination?
Taking care of my family. I love being a mom and my family seems to think I am good at it.
Hummm…I think it would be my sensitivity.
Probably following through on what I say I am going to do. Very helpful in the classroom before, and now at home with my kids.
My smile and patience
Probably mental strength. Physical strength could use a little work.
Hmmm. working with kids. I’m great with kids.
You won an award at Callista’s Ramblings
Not sure. Compassion? =)
Have a great weekend!
Determination.
[...] Friday, which means that over at An Island Life it is time for Aloha [...]
Organisation and compassion.
my love for my family
Adaptability. I’m a pretty fast learner and can make do in just about any situation. (Not that I always like it!)
…being a caregiver for (&loving) my children and holding our household together.
My greatest strength is that I am empathetic. I really believe we all deserve a little empathy once in a while.
New reader here! (why hello, niced to meet you too! ^_^)
My biggest strength would be my multi-tasking. I can feed my son, fold the laundry, type a report for work and cook dinner all at once – though I’m pretty sure that that’s one of those thingsthat kicks in after labor for all women… like the dreadful hormones…
[...] My oh my – it’s Aloha Friday on other countries already I think I am going to use this post as my entry. Â My question for this week is “What is your favorite concert that you attended?” If none, what is your favorite band (rock or non-rock, whatever.) And for more fun question and answer Aloha Friday, please visit Kalani at An Inland Life [...]
This is a tough one…it shouldn’t be this hard to think of something…I guess my mult-tasking ability.
Hmm, the answer I usually give in job interviews has been being organized and proactive, but I don’t really feel as if either of those fit anymore. I’m really not sure, sad to say.
Dependability & loyalty, I think.
My greatest strength would have to be my patience.
Loyalty to loved ones and close friends!
Perhaps my loyalty.
Compassion & care & concern for others!
Thats an easy one… my ability to like everyone… I see the good in just about everyone unless they do me wrong!
I’d have to say it’s my ability to stay calm under pressure and in emergencies. I guess that’s why I used to work as an EMT.
It’s being a compassionate person. It allows me to think of others and listen to their voices. Compassion also made me who I am. Nurse/ Counselor uses my Greatest asset , Compassion.
Ummmmm I’m a good listener and I hope a good friend
Good listener and caring.
My greatest strength: I’m never been one to give into peer pressure. So, I guess I am either extremely stubborn or have some great will power! LOL
I think being a mom has given me my greatest strength. I have no fear and will not hold back anything when it comes to my kids. Before my children I would say nothing and let everyone railroad me. Not anymore!!!
probably my patience or compassion
I am super organized.
Humor!
I have to find humor in all things regardless of how crabby I may be.
My greatest strength is perseverance.
Oh those types of questions are always so tough. I went with the ability to keep going even when I want to quit. I guess I could have said determination like an earlier commenter and saved some words. LOL
I am a great listener. People always come to me with their problems just so they can get them off their chest.
My greatest strength would have to be my educational “mind”! I love learning and getting more education and have already gotten my BA, M.Ed. and next is P.HD.
My Family that raised me and my Family that I am raising ~ they all give me strength everyday of my life ~ I love them dearly!!
Determination
i don’t know why i always find this question so hand to answer… loyalty i guess
I’m very positive. I can find the silver lining in almost any situation.
Probably my sense of humor. It gets me through the tough times. One has to laugh to live and live to laugh:)
My greatest strength would be endurance and/or survival. I have not had to use them, very much at least. But I know I will be able to survive almost anything put in my way.
I would like to think that I could use the word endurance interchangeably with unconditional love, and survival with caring for others.
This is a wonderful, insightful question, thanks.

Hmm not sure what you would call it but my ability to solve problems.
I’m very good listener
Critical thinking/problem solving. Also, playing the devil’s advocate.
