Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
If you could write for any magazine, which one would it be?
|
Owner of An Island Life and Family Review Network. Wife, mother, and flight attendant . . . living a blessed life in Hawaii. |

I think I would like to write for Parents – I love that magazine and they seem like fun people who talk about things I can relate too.
I’d love to write for Conde Nast Travel–only if they sent me on some fantastic trips to review!
I would probably pick one of the Scholastic teacher magazines. I always loved reading them when I was in the classroom and it looks like a lot of fun.
I would love to write for The Smithsonian or National Geographic.
I would have to make up my own magazine and call it Grammy’s World. lol Are there even any grandparents’ or empty nester magazines out there?
I would write for my favorite magazines, Coastal Living & Real Simple.
Of course I’d have to live in a lovely home somewhere on the coast with the sound of the ocean waking me every morning and my life would have to be totally organized and simple!!
Vouge (sp?) I think its very classy!
If I could write for my favorite magazine……..it would have to be for Vogue. Srsly. That magazine is SO over-the-top that I think it would be quite a kick to throw some of my own articles in it. Maybe in my next life…..
Great question! I would love to write for Real Simple, Marie Claire or Oprah!
I would like to write for Consumer Reports and test out all the gadgets
Definitely a travel magazine, so that I would have a good excuse to be traveling all the time!
I would have to say Runner’s World.
I’d have to write for either a food magazine as a food critic or for a travel magazine so I could travel!!!
Due to the fact that I am an avid cyclist I would say Bicycling Magazine. Happy Friday!
Soap Opera Magazine. I’d like to have the inside scoop lol
Ohhhhh for sure Martha Stewart’s Living.
I would love to write for Food & Wine! I’m not a talented enough cook though.
never really thought about writing for anyone but myself, but as i sit her thinking about it, i think it would be cool to write for a youth ministry magazine or for parents of teenagers. that would put my 10 years of experience in that area to good use.
hope you’re feeling well and able to get things accomplished around your place. have a good weekend.
i like to write for a food magazine. love to share recipes and food adventures.
Readers Digest. Then my parents would read me!
Or maybe a travel magazine so I could get paid to have fun!

Oh I would love to write for Parents or Parenting!
I would like to write for a children’s magazine like Parenting.
Bride’s Magazine. I love anything wedding & will be so thrilled when it’s time to help plan my children’s weddings. Sadly, I only have one daughter & my luck will be that she elopes!
A travel magazine most definitely as it would give me a chance to talk about trips, hotels, food and take photos too. In short, doing all the things I love at somebody else’s expense. Ha ha!
Time
Probably a law review
I did write for a magazine at one time: WIRE JOURNAL, a very technical, stuffy journal for the wire industry. I’d love to write for a Parenting magazine or a “Green” magazine!
I would probably want to write for Rolling Stone
I’d love to write for Oprah. I’d say a fashion magazine but I don’t think I’m quite qualified for that.
differently a cooking one. Always in the kitchen thinking up What’s for dinner, lol.
Oooh….Entertainment Weekly!
Entreprenuer! With 3 small businesses, it would be nice to be successful one day to the point that I could write for that one!
Do It Yourself Magazine for sure!Happy Aloha Friday Everyone!
I would love to write for a family travel guide magazine. It would keep us on the move and help me support the family at the same time.
fun question! I’d have to go with Martha Stewart Living
Parents or Star lol complete opposites but my 2 fav mags!
Either a travel magazine or the now-defunct Jane magazine, which I loved.
I would do one of the Parenting magazines.
I’ve always wanted to work at a mag. It used to be Golf Magazine, but now I’d love Family Vacation
Parenting or Family Fun would be great too.
Have a fabulous weekend
Hmmm…People, so I could meet some of my Hollywood crushes, or Instyle or Self because I love beauty products…
I’d love to write for The New Yorker.
Good question! I think I would go with Cooking Light!!
I would imagine writing articles for Firehouse or Fire Engineering. Firefighter trade magazines. Although I would love to write erotica for playboy…..hmmmm that would be fun!
