Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
My question is:
If you could write for any magazine, which one would it be?

National Geographic…as a photojournalist. I’d have to be able to mix in some photography. On second thought Wine Spectator sounds nice too:)
Hmmmm, good question. Probably Cooking Light or something like that.
InStyle or Oprah so I could , (hopefully) get my jewelry featured:).
Travel & Leisure or Conde Nast, but only if they sent me to beach resorts or Italy.
Definitely a travel magazine so I could go on some fantastic trips.
Hmmm…I think probably shape or self magazine. Although I do like the Oprah Magazine as well…they seem to get to go to some cool places for their stories!
I would like to write for a magazine like Metropolitian Home or one of those other home magazines that show these amazing homes but no stuff..I would like to explain to them that real people have STUFF in their homes….sometimes lots of stuff
I think Reader’s Digest!
Glamour or Cosmo
Oh I think I would have to write for a Travel magazine so I could travel for work! haha
Have a great day!
Wow! That’s a tough one…I don’t know a beauty magazine…
I really will have to get back to you on that, lol….I never gave it much thought.

That’s a great question and what a lot of great answers, I’m not sure what I would want to write for. I think I would like to write for People
First time here & my first Aloha Friday
I think I would write for Parenting magazine but if there was a magazine out for cloth diapers then it would totally be for that!
I would want to write for Parents or Racheal Ray. In the parents one, I’d love to share the story of my preemie and reach out to other parents who felt or feel like I do. And I’d love to share some of my fun recipes in the R.R. one!
Hooah! Would have to be “Travel and Leisure” so I could travel to all the exotic places I would be writing about!
Travel magazine would be nice…think of all those great trips. Or a food critic would be very cool. So I would have to say… something along the lines of Conde Nast where I could do it all.
I would love to write for Fine Cooking Magazine.
I would love to write for a food magazine – being a food critic of course!
I’d love to write for any of the magazines put out by Reiman Publications (Country, Taste of Home, etc.) Their magazines are just gorgeous!
Think that I would like to write for a parenting magazine. I would love to share all my humiliating and embarrassing stories with other moms that can relate!
I am a freelance writer and have actually had the privilege of writing for magazines. My favorite is always going to be Creation Illustrated.
I think it would be a baby magazine. I don’t have a specific one in mind though.
Is there a magazine for mamas who like to do it “homemade” because it’s CHEAPER? I’d like to write for them.
I would write for ISLANDS magazine, because I’m a Caribbean gal and I love to travel and I love beauty in nature.
[...] and look forward to the weekend, in Hawaii and blog land anyway. As you should know by now, over at An Island Life, Kailani decided that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting and ask a simple question for [...]
I guess I’d probably go with Parents Magazine – I’m guessing I’d have more relevant things to write about with them – but ohhh how about a travel magazine like National Geographic – or anyone who would pay me to go on vacations.
I’d want to write for Grands magazine or maybe a travel magazine!
How fun would that be writing about the worlds greatest beaches!
Have a great weekend!
I’d love to write for Real Simple! They always have the best organizing tips!
Cosmo! I think it would waaayyy too much fun!
I can’t pick just one but my tops are def equal: Essence (as a young black woman) Parenting (as a young mom) Real Simple and Redbook. Those are my favorites and are actually on my coffee table every month!
I would love to write for ghost hunters magazine.
I would love to write for Martha Stewart Living Magazine.
I’d love to write for Arizona Highways magazine!
Southern Living – I’d want to write for their travel dept!
If I ever write for National Geographic I’ll know I’ve finally made it to the Big Leagues. Top notch.
I would love to write for family circle
shopannies@Yahoo.com
It would be fun to write for a food magazine or even People
The Ensign. Or Taste of Home.
