Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

So my question is . .

What is in the trunk of your car right now?

A necklace I have needed to return for a long time, and a brick! The brick is supposed to weigh down the back of my car so it won’t rattle. It really doesn’t work.

Way too much but … it’s always there. The normal jack with spare tire, jumper cables and small set of tools. Backback with three day emergency supplies. 20 recyable market bags. Bag of books for the grands to read. A small ice chest for storing cold purchases. Two lightweight blankets. Jackets for the grands. a few umbrells and misc, small stuff. LOL

But I don’t have a trunk :( I have a Grand Caravan, but I have a basket in the back of my van where I put such things as eggs and bread when I go shopping, and there’s two floral pieces for the cemetary and a bag of emergency stuff such as first aid kit, blanket, tools for the car and flashlight & batteries. Oh, and a spray bottle of stuff for dog odor to go away.

You are stocked! You put my van to shame, I need to get on the emergency kit! And a basket for bread and eggs! Genius! :D

I have a minivan as well, so no trunk, and I honestly can’t think of what is back there! Oh! My friend is in town visiting and her daughters carseat is in the back :)

    Vicki says:

No trunk, but behind the back seat there is a box with oil, transmission fluid, jumper cables etc., 3 outdoor quad chairs, a bowling ball, about 10 reusable shopping bags.

    I don’t know… That’s my husband expertise.

That would be the baby pram, kids sunday school bag and clothes.

I drive an SUV and the back is totally empty right now.

    Brittany says:

I really don’t have a trunk either just a little space behind the 3rd seat.. I’m sure either a baseball bag or softball bag are back there.

Since I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe, I don’t have a trunk – but the back area has a bunch of reusable canvas shopping bags and a snow brush/scraper that is still in its new wrapping since I never got a chance to use it this year. :)

Do you like the Santa Fe? I just started looking at them. I want to trade in one of our big SUV’s for something smaller. I love the look of Santa Fe and the Kia (can’t remember the name of the midsized one) and the better gas milage then my SUV. LOL.

An emergency kit, a bucket of broken sea shells, a box of old books for the library, a beach blanket, sand toys, bowling shoes, sweat jackets for the kids – a lot of stuff!

We don’t have a “trunk” because we have a minivan but in the back is my double stroller and a Sam’s Club freezer bag :)

2 coats from my Mom’s house, the spare tire and an emergency aide kit

I just have a blanket and a Maclaren stroller. I usually have a lot more in there but since none of my kids are playing sports this year it’s empty.

In my trunk right now, I have an Ikea blue bag, jumper cables, a reusable insulated shopping bag, and a box full of purses and jewelry for sale. Wanna buy some? :)

Absolutely nothing. We traded in our old suv last night and brought home a new one. Now if you’d asked me yesterday what was in the back of the old one, I would have run out of room here Lol!

    Teri says:

Water, a first aid kit, and an emergency blanket. My spare tire and stuff is back there too but it’s out of sight. :-)

    Tammy @ LoveMy2Dogs says:

Well, since I don’t have a car I will have to go with what is in the back of my Trailblazer. Let’s see, I have an emergency kit that probably had dead batteries in the flashlight, a bottle of water, a first aid kit, a roll of paper towels, a small air pump that runs off a cigarette lighter outlet, two lawn chairs, gloves, OFF (mosquito repellent) and heck there might even be a kitchen sink.

    Create With Joy says:

Honestly – I have no clue except the spare!
