Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too.

Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response. If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

So my question is . . .

What do you think is the perfect Mother’s Day gift?

Please link up only if you’re participating in Aloha Friday. All irrelevant links will be deleted.

My daughter used to bring me breakfast in bed every Mother’s Day. I miss it very much. Now, I enjoy time with my family. Can’t beat hugs and kisses from grandchildren!

The perfect gift, in my opnion, is ANYTHING homemade. It shows so much love!

I agree with Jerrica… Homemade stuff!! I can’t wait for Alex to be old enough to do that kind of stuff!!

I think the perfect gift is just whatever my mom wants. It changes from year to year! But I am making her favorite meal for her….chili dogs!

Besides sleep? I love when my kids make me things, it means so much to see them express their feelings in that way. My husband on the other hand – he better DO something FOR me – of my choosing that is. I like when he does chores that I hate doing. Or completes his honey do list.

hmmmm, mani/pedi, facial, full body massage and then not having to lift a finger for my family at least for 24 hrs. maybe 48. yes, that would be heaven . . .

Anything that the kids and hubby think up. I don’t “want” to have to give them hints!

For my mom it would be having my brother, niece and I in the same state, to spend Mother’s Day with her.

Definitely anything homemade – I love the creative things Princess Nagger makes for me. If it’s coming from the hubby, I love the unexpected gifts – something I didn’t actually ask for, but I wanted or needed, showing that he listened/paid attention during prior conversations. ;)

Sorry about the wrong link in #18 and #19. Can you delete them? The kids were bickering this morning and I was majorly distracted. The first time I forgot to change the link from the last one I submitted to a Mr. Linky and the second time I had evidently copied your url and not my own. Ugh I need some coffee. I am giving up now :) The link to my Aloha Friday is below. Sorry about that. I am normally not this ditzy.

As for your question, my perfect mother’s day is a picnic and a hike in the woods with my family. Which is what I am going to do if this rain lets up.

A day all to myself sounds like the perfect gift! Or no fighting all day.

To me the perfect day would be with my family – including my mother. Two years ago we were at Disney World and it was amazing to spend this special day there.

I love homemade gifts from the kids and a nice family picnic at a park or waterside.
Happy Mother’s Day to you and all the mamas out there. Aloha!

I think the perfect gift would be breakfast in bed and then a day I can spend in my pajamas sleeping. Since that isn’t going to happen I would love a nice quiet day with the girls.

  26. 26

    I”m honestly not sure.
But for me. I’d love to have $1000 and a day all to myself!
